  1. I am looking to add a dual battery to my 2003 Elite V. I know many have done this before, any suggestions on the location for the second battery?
  2. New to the forum, decided on Supreme, unsure of the model. Love the look of these, and the build quality without all the electronic toys that are, IMO, not very useful but very expensive. Great hull, fantastic engines wrapped in quality product. Hoping some of you on here can shed some light. Moving from Four Winns I/O to Supreme. Family of four, we all waterski (I know for some of you, that is weird) but making open water cuts at 31 mph on glass like water is a rush I can't kick. However, the allure of surfing is growing and will be doing some wakeboarding. Kids ski too as does the admiral, but surfing is something we'll be doing more of as well. I'd say 70/25/5 skiing/surfing/wakeboarding. I am looking for a boat that will do all three, but skiing and surfing are the bigger priorities. The dealer is trying to get me to go from the S202 (with larger engine) which is my choice to the S211 or even S238. His premise is that I will eventually want the room. Apparently the storage on the S202 is not ideal and not big enough to handle a crowd. My counters are: 1: I actually don't want boat leaches...just close friends and family. I don't want 10 people sucking on my fuel on my dime all day. I figure 4 adults and 4 kids or me and 4-5 buddies or three couples. The dealer is saying how my kids will grow and need more space. My counter... tough luck, if they don't like my boat, than can get their own! 2: I am getting a tow boat to be behind it as well as drive it. If I have 11 people, I gotta wait my turn...might as well turn myself into a boat leach and simply bring the beverages. 3: Bigger boats make bigger wakes...and they are a mean woman to cross. 20' is the ideal length IMO for a crossover boat. 4. If the boat is full of people (say 6-7 adults), how much do the bags need to be filled, can't I use the storage in the back. The equation being more people, less PNP ballast required? I remember 25 years ago, we'd wakesurf behind a DD Malibu with bag pilled high on the transom and still pulled some tricks. How much wake is required nowadays? 5. The fun factor seems to be lost by the dealer here...I am not looking to join the waterski/surf/ wakeboard tour, just have fun with the family and some friends. What to you guys think?
  3. Start making plans for the 19th of August 2016 This year we are moving the CCC Weekend up to Friday the 19th of August CenturionCrew members, family and friends will begin to descend on Bethy Creek Resort near the town of Riverside, Texas an hour north of Houston. For a weekend of fun on the water, full of Centurion boats and water related activities. Dates for the event were moved up this year per discussions with many of the attendees from last year. Please post on the thread if this causes issues for anyone and we can discuss. Of course the fun of an event like this is that everyone shares their boats, boards and has a blast riding and hanging out with old and new friends. The core group will arrive Friday morning to start setting up for the CCC Weekend. Everyone is welcome to check in when ever they would like and stay as long as they like. Friday - Will be the main arrival day, crew members will check in and get some riding in. That evening CCC will provide an eat and greet meal of sausage wrapped in tortillas along with chips and something sweet. Once everyone has had their fill previous year videos will be shown at the pavilion along with a group fire, giving everyone a chance to meet and put name and faces together. Saturday - Ride Ride Ride and Ride some more, a day full of boat hopping, board swapping, in general spending time and riding with crew members you usually don't get a chance to ride with. Learn some new tricks, try the wake on a different model boat, just get out there and have some fun in the Texas sun. There is a sand bar in front of the resort, the plan is to meet at the sand bar to raft up around 4pm and switch up boards, boats and riders, then head back out for a final session. Crew coming in from out of town can rest assure that they will have a boat to jump in and a board to ride behind, so there is no need to bring any boards if you are flying in for the event. After a full day of riding, dinner will be served by CCC which will consist of something really good that has yet to be decided, including something sweet. After the meal, everyone will gather in the pavilion for music, fun and door prizes. Also, if we can work all the details out, crew members will be able to take hits on the ERC (Endless Ride Cable) 2 tower cable system, boards will be provided or you can use your own. See post below for further information on the cable system which can also be ridden the entire weekend. Sunday - Morning rides depending on your travel plans, there will surely be crew members planning to ride most of the day. So anyone remaining on Sunday will still be able to see some action on the water. For those that are considering flying in from out of town, the Bethy Creek Resort is only 75 miles from IAH (George Bush Intercontinental Airport). There is a chance of talking a local crew member into a ride from the airport or grab the cheapest rental car you can find for the weekend. See post below for directions to the CCC Weekend. 6. Has anyone tried the Mission Delta on an older Ski Centurion? I would love to hear what people think.
  7. Hey all, new boat owner and happy to be part of the Centurion family. Just purchased a 2016 Centurion Enzo SV244 a month ago and have about 42 hrs on it. Getting a GREAT surf wave for left foot forward surfers (which is nice because everyone in my family surfs that side) but REALLY struggling to get a good enough wave with some push for my goofy footed friends. Kind of frustrating, seeing that my goofy footed friends have all wrigged up their much older boats and have a much better goofy wave. The wave is clean but I just can't seem to get it steep enough and definitely does not have the curl like my regular side. Any recommendations for setup? (CATS, Tabs, QuickSurf, etc) Spent an hour last night just tinkering with all of the different settings and still can't get a great wave. Thanks
  8. Hey guys, I have a 2000 centurion eclipse v drive with the Walter v drive. I have to replace the bushings on my strut and am curious, can I remove the v drive and remove the prop shaft through the inside of the boat instead of going through the pain of removing the coupler and reinstalling the coupler. It appears if I remove the v drive I should have plenty of room to clear the shaft inside
  9. My wife and I have deposit on a new Supreme S226 with Supreme's Wake Surfing Championship Package including the Quick Surf System. We like the boat a lot but I had a few questions before we finalize our decision this week. We have 4 kids (11, 8, 6 & 3) two of which wakeboard on our current I/O along with my wife and I, but non of us have wakesurfed yet. Since our kids our young I would like a boat that wake boards and wake surfs really well along with one that will give us enough room for our family and at least one if not two other families on rare occasions. The same dealer we are working with has a S238 as well that we did look at, but it is a bit more expensive and the model he has is in orange and black which my wife does not really like. The S226 is a nice blue with metal flake which she loves. With all that said does the S226 sound like it would be a good fit for my family with room to grow especially as my kids get more involved in both sports. (they are already doing well with wake boarding and have a lot of interest in progressing.) The other question I have is in regards to pricing. The list price on the S226 is $69,900 and I believe the S238 is around $75,000. Are these decent prices for these models? Last questions is in regards to Centurion. I know beginning in 2014 the CATS system was added. Would I be better off trying to find a used Centurion (at least 14+ capacity) rather than one of these 2016 Supremes? Thanks in advance for any guidance you guys can give. I am obviously new to the wake boat life and although my family and I are excited to dive in as you know this is a big, long term investment and we want to make the right decision out of the gate. Thanks again! Dave
  10. So I have been shopping for a new boat for awhile now and I'm thinking about pulling the trigger on an 06 Avy c4. I looked at the boat today and it looked pretty nice it hasn't been cleaned up yet but it does look like it with clean up well. they are also apparently doing some electrical work to it but that was all the salesman knew. The boat has storm 1 package, bling package, evolution tower with sanson swivel board racks, total of 12 speaker stereo (didn't get to hear it because they were working on the electronics) custom graphics and gelcoat I haven't seem one like it and in my opinion it looks better than all others I've seen Trailer seemed to have nice upgraded black and chrome rims. the boat doesn't have perfect pass or rear ballast though. He said he thinks it will be priced at 35,900 what does everyone think of the boat/price? sorry I should have to pics but I forgot.
  11. First post. Hopefully this is right. I have a Centurion Avalanche 2007. The seat over the drive access has a hinge on it. This is the opening looking down. You can see the binding and how it pops the hinge out where it curves This is the plastic cover over the hole, it sits recessed and flush with the seat on it. I notice all the other seats have a black formed thing screwed to the bottom on all the rest of the seats. The hinge is a serious pain in the butt when I have to do any maintenance or even put the speed sensor in the bottom of the boat before launching. Can I remove this from the hinge and just mount the seat directly to the plastic cover? Anyone try that before.
  12. I have a 2008 Enzo SV230 with the skylon double up tower. Boat came with the Sony head unit with built in amp powering the in boat speakers and a remote mounted on the driver console. My first issue, whenever I hit a wave or small bounce (I am not slamming into wakes), everything turns off and comes back on. I am assuming loose connection somewhere but has anyone had this issue and solved it? #2 Just got a great deal on Roswell Vamp Pro Spin speakers and a Rockford Fosgate 5 Channel M600 Amp. Speakers have LED lights in them. My first thought was to install them to the sub channel but I have been thinking that might become very annoying. My second thought was to add a switch somewhere so I could choose always on or powered by sub. I will also be installing a secondary battery with Perko switch. I have been reading as much as I can on this set up but am a little confused on a few points. I would like to have volume control over in-boat and tower separately. I am on a very tight budget but I also don't want to waste money by buying cheap quality and having to replace in the next year or two. I got the 5 channel amp so that I could add a sub next year and hope to continue adding to the boat each year. Can anyone walk me through (treat me like an infant on this one) how to set this up? If there is a thread that already covers this, direction to that thread would work as well. Thank you in advance for all your help.

  15. I'm a newby to the site and I recently purchased a 2003 Avalanche. This is my first my first wake/surf boat and I need advice on how to set up the boat for surfing. The factory locker ballasts have been replaced by wave maker 1100lb. sacs in each locker and it also has a factory center ballast. Is this boat capable of a surf wake? How much weight in the ballasts? Trim plate position? Please help!
  16. Hello, I am selling my 99 Malibu Sunseter VLX with SV23 Wake Hull (same hull as Wakesetter till 2005) for a budget surf boat. I currently have my boat set-up with 600#'s in each rear corner, 500# in front under bow seating, and surf gates. The boat does produce a good wave that is easily surfed ropeless on a smaller board… but I want a much better wave! I need a boat that will throw a great goofy wave, be more comfortable in the chop, and more spacious. I have narrowed the search down to the Avalanche C4, an Enzo with reversed prop rotation (I have seen many of these around the same price as the Avalanche C4), and some Tige models such as the 22V, and maybe an RZ2. My budget is up to 39000. Since my wife will be driving and is comfortable driving a balanced weighted boat, I don't want to have to list the boat to extreme angles to get great results. That will freak my wife out! Have any recommendations?? Thanks guys!
  17. I need help from anyone that has tried this or has any ideas. I have a 2008 Centurion Enzo. I actually haven't even put it in the water yet but I had to put the tower down to get it in my garage. I will have to do this every time I put the boat away to fit in my lift. It seems as if I have to unscrew completely four knobs to allow the tower to fold. I know from experience that this is an accident waiting to happen and one of those knobs is going to be dropped and sink to the bottom of the river. Has anyone done any modifications for a quick release set up? I doubt it is possible since the holes are threaded and I don't want anything rattling while moving but I figured this would be the best place to ask. I will post pictures as soon as the boat is on the water and cleaned up. Thanks,
  18. I have a 2015 SS210 with a 409 and am finding that there is a lot of water splash back onto the back pads of the boat when surfing. We are typically going 10.5 to 11 mph with the tab around 40 to 50. People sitting on the back seat are even getting wet. It seems like it's just the way the exhaust is hitting the plate. Anyone else seen this? Any way to correct?
  19. While I've been very happy with my custom ShredStixx board, after trying out a new Soulcraft Emily I think it's time to add a Soulcraft to the quiver. The Emily was a Twin fin but also comes as a Twinzer. After doing a bit of internet searching it would seem that a Twinzer has better hold than a Twin, but not as locked in as a full Quad. Then there's the Sixer... I know I should just get ahold of Jeff and explain what I want, but was hoping that the Crew can give me a little insight to this before taking the next step.
  20. Everyone, Will post pics this weekend. I live on a river that fluctuates between 10-15 feet where we surf. We can tell a huge difference when we hit a shallower spot. Right now, our standard setup is a 2008 Enzo with 3-4 people in the back of the boat with an enzo sac filled. I've tried adding bags on the seats but hate having ballast showing. I've read a lot about assymetrical plates but don't want to do anything that will affect the boat at all speeds as we like to wakeboard and slalom behind the boat as well. Starboard side still has stock, hard tank. Any advice for getting the wave better. It's certainly better than our 1997 MC with fat sacs but there are way too many great pictures and videos here of long waves with tons of push to not be jealous. Second question: what upgrades do you suggest: it has a tower (no speakers which I am OK with) and standard stereo system, PP, ballast puppy pump sac and extra small pumps to increase speed of emptying the ballast. The ballast takes about 10-15 minutes to fill completely. Fuel gauge is not working and the floor above the tank is screwed in (I can't believe they didn't use bolts!!!) so that is my next project to fix. I don't like the tower, takes at least 2 people and blocks the side of the boat for getting on and off at the lift. Lot's of info here but I am sure everyone can agree that as soon as you buy a boat, you want to make it absolutely perfect! Thanks in advance!
  21. Looking for advice on getting the best wakeboarding wake. I like steep, hard wake as far as shape goes. Current Setup: 2004 Avalanche C4 (350 Mag) Dual 800# sacs in the rear Stock center tank 250# About 400-500# in the bow 911 prop Running 23.7 MPH Wake is pretty good but I'm wondering if any changes would make it better. Specifically, do I have too much in the bow? I've heard Avys don't need much bow weight. Should I add more in the rear? Or would adding a sac on top of the floor over the center tank help to make the wake more firm? Any help is much appreciated.

  23. Can anybody share what the sizes or part # are for replacement idler/tension pulleys for an 07 avy with 5.7 mercury black scorpion? The chirp and squeal is annoying already.
  24. Does anyone know the hull angle for a 2010 avy. We're getting our a-plate made tomorrow, but unfortunately I forgot my protractor when we went to take measurements. Somewhere around 15 - 20 degrees I figure. Thanks in advance!
