  4. S226 research

Stretch, you make some really good points and I definitely hear what you're saying. My wife and I are leaning towards the E238 for the extra space so it's good to hear that it might be a bit better of a wakeboard boat than the S226 When you mentioned the "used 22" is there a particular boat you are referring to? Thanks! Dave
  5. Thanks rrd525, some really helpful information. Sounds like the extra 2ft. you get with the S238 for the price difference may be well worth it and I'm glad to hear you the news about the wakeboard wake being pretty decent. Did you look into the S226 as well? I'm only asking because we can get the one (S226) we have on deposit for $69,900 with the dealer on our lake and the color combo is what my wife wants. I'm a little concerned if we wait for the combo that my wife wants in a 2016 S238 that we won't find it and will be stuck having to pay a lot more for a 2017 model. With all that said in the long run the most important part is buying the right boat for our family. Thanks again!
  6. Thanks Viking! So in your opinion does the S226 put out a better stock wake than the S238? Most people I've spoken with so far seem to say the opposite which is why we are leaning towards the S238. We were figuring if we can gain an extra foot of space and possibly gain a bit better wake at a minimal price upgrade it would be the best of all worlds. Thank again for your input!
  7. Thanks Tommy, I really appreciate the input. My wife and I have ben talking more and are definitely leaning towards the S238 for the extra room. I've also spoken with a couple dealers and it seems ad though their consensus is that the S238 has a better surf wake and wakeboard wake than the S226. Thanks again! David
  8. S226 research

My wife and I have a deposit on a new Supreme S226 with Supreme's Wake Surfing Championship Package including the Quick Surf System. We like the boat a lot but I had a few questions before we finalize our decision this week. We have 4 kids (11, 8, 6 & 3) two of which wakeboard on our current I/O along with my wife and I, but non of us have wakesurfed yet. Since our kids our young I would like a boat that wake boards and wake surfs really well along with one that will give us enough room for our family and at least one if not two other families on rare occasions. The same dealer we are working with has a S238 as well that we did look at, but it is a bit more expensive and the model he has is in orange and black which my wife does not really like. The S226 is a nice blue with metal flake which she loves. With all that said does the S226 sound like it would be a good fit for my family with room to grow especially as my kids get more involved in both sports. (they are already doing well with wake boarding and have a lot of interest in progressing.) The other question I have is in regards to pricing. The list price on the S226 is $69,900 and I believe the S238 is around $75,000. Are these decent prices for these models? Last questions is in regards to Centurion. I know beginning in 2014 the CATS system was added. Would I be better off trying to find a used Centurion (at least 14+ capacity) rather than one of these 2016 Supremes? Thanks in advance for any guidance you guys can give. I am obviously new to the wake boat life and although my family and I are excited to dive in as you know this is a big, long term investment and we want to make the right decision out of the gate.
  9. I forgot to mention the other option we have considered since we are coming up on August 2016 is waiting for the 2107 model. The only problem is our dealer says there will most likely be 5-7% increase for the 2017 models. The only reason we would lean this direction would be if we determine that we must have the S238 due to the extra space or for other riding reasons. This would allow my wife to order the color she wants. ...thanks!
