Thank you Wylie_Tunes, you make a good point. I was originally told the rear starboard seat had space for the battery. Today, I was measuring at the seat is only 7 inches deep. Most of the specs of the batteries show them to have a height of 9+ inches. I was hoping to keep it out of the rear ski locker so they would still be available for ballast. I did not know what other locations had been used. I would like to keep it close

I am looking to add a dual battery to my 2003 Elite V. I know many have done this before, any suggestions on the location for the second battery?
