And it says you have a centurion wave in your profile. What's up with that?

19' 90 something Bay liner (I burned this one and kept the trailer) fiberglass boats burn faster than a love seat.

Scottnorman how does the x23 surf compare to the sv233?

The x23 surfs a lot better than my sv233, but that may be because i just didn't have my sv233 set up right. I always had difficulty surfing without a rope on my sv233, but the x23 was very easy at the push of a button - again this was likely user error. I was considering the FS, but there were a few things i really liked about the X23: (1) my son surfs goofy, and set up b/w goofy and regular was really easy, (2) not knocking Centurion - it is a great boat - but I don't think they should be priced same as Mastercraft (at time i purchased my X, Centurion did not have 5 yr warranty), (3) my centurion's software failed me while running full ballast and i couldn't empty my tanks - MC has redundant manual switching, (4) instrumentation didn't automatically dim at night, which mean i had to cover instruments with towel - and no manual switches for lights, which is a pain while driving at night, (5) really like the mc dealer. That said, i think centurion can address all of these issues in time and I definitely would prefer having ramfill.

I can't comment on the X23 but I will for sure say you did not have your 233 sey up right. We were all able to surf easily without a rope with just factory ballast. When we added an extra 400 lbs we had a world class wave with my boys surfing way behind the boat and the heavy guys not having an issues at all going without a rope. To each their own and glad your enjoying your MC.

Boardco, impressive list man - looks like I picked the wrong profession.

Hard act to follow, but mine are:

2004 Pro Air Nautique

2012 V226

2017 ???? (Wife is expecting a s226 but I might "surprise her" with a 217. Yes, I am either an idiot or an addict. Either way the first step is acceptance).

no. Not at all. Tell you why, the obsession about upgrades and such and the compulsion to buy them is almost just like using. However I will gladly continue this behavior as opposed to my past. And yes centurions are a lot cheaper!!??

It's gonna happen. I'm just finalizing my colors/options and should hopefully get it wrapped up this afternoon.

I have decided after building a home last year and now with this boat crap........I am much more content just letting someone else pick for me and I like it the way it is. I have ordered boats in the past, but seems like now there are 500 more options/details!

I'm super stoked for my .....errrr ....the "NEW" Malibu if you know what I mean... :secret:
