Been riding heelside alot lately. Seems to pay off in comps so I'm trying new things. Got a heelside air three down pretty good now and I'm working on heelside air reverses... Damn hard! Here's a screen grab of a nice method I pulled off yesterday.

My son wanted to try the longboard for the first time yesterday. He had a blast! Something so fun about riding that thing

I have a new slogan ... "Get behind one" . If you don't your missing the preverbial "BOAT". Not only is the proof "behind the boat" , the company and the way it operates is also one you can "get behind ".

After being a member of the site for almost 6 years, I finally took the plunge and bought a 2018 Centurion Fi23. I'm really stoked! I've mostly been surfing behind a supreme s211 in my boat club in Austin, TX and friends boats including an Ri 237 and another friend's Moomba. I skipped most of the options, but did get all of the surf oriented ones (All PnP except bow bag, Quicksurf, RamFill Pro, CATs, Silent Stinger). I've lurked around all of the boat forums and I can say, hands down, I enjoy the Centurioncrew.com the most which was definitely a factor. So many people on this site were helpful including @BoardCo @Lak3surf3r @Bawshogg and many others. Here she is... (should be here in about a month and living at my dock on lake austin which is almost complete)

I gotta agree with Bawshogg on the seats.....for deep cleaning we pull all the seats out of the boat. Sometimes we will take just one seat out and put it in the direct sun to help with a stubborn stain we are having trouble cleaning.

We had fun Saturday at don padro! Met up with chowder and delta, they were generous enough to give me a pull behind his 257 and all I can say is WOW! That wave/boat is impressive to say the least. I couldn't get off my back foot or the wave would throw me into the back of the boat. My buddy that had no idea what Wakesurfing even was before he saw it Saturday even got up on his second try. Unfortunately I don't have any video of it because I was riding with chowder while my wife towed my buddy. Then we went to the falls and hung out with all the party animals that buy boats to park in a cove and get drunk all day lol.

There is a guy in Kelseville (Clear Lake ) that does gel work. He is excellent. Did a front end fix on my Falcon V from where it slammed into the sherriffs swim step after a tow. Can't remember his name (Malcom?). Travis from hillside would know. This guy is the real deal. Matched exactly with Centurion colors but we did not have flake on that boat. I would also talk to your dealer.

Only shop I have seen that can fix and match flake is NWBS. Give them a call I bet they can give you some recommendations

Yeah, you've got a leak somewhere. My bet is the shaft seal on an 07. You can switch it out to a dripless shaft seal. There's a how-to write up

I agree on hinged seats... like the lift out better. my 257 was delivered in June and I haven't had any software issues. I think they reacted fast as bugs were discovered.

Cap, Its funny non hinged seats are a plus to me. As I was giving her a good cleaning this weekend being able to put the cushions in a comfortable work place was great. It also doesn't block access to the compartments, with the hinged seats on the Bu it was sometimes a pain getting stuff in and out of the compartments. Hidden trash can, floor cooler and seat hieght adjuster i agree with you. The bolster, is OK but not as comfy as a full seat and for 100k+ i should be able to use the full seat. Funny thing is each manufacturer has strengths, it is a differentiator. For example the slide seat with reversible back rests, i have 2 of these. One so i have complete rear seat, and one for use under the Bimini! Bimini coverage, no one else even comes close. Everything is included, no extra bags, no pumps to plumb, stereo is great right from the factory! So if a PNP fatsac starts leaking 4 years from now its under warranty! The other thing to consider is Centurion has been spending time getting construction and hull shapes dialed in. I have had a couple new boat issues, but the RI257 is by far the most trouble free boat i have ever had. I spent a full day out yesterday, creating biggest cleanest waves possible from ANY boat. I used just under 1/2 tank of gas. My MXZ would have been empty 2 hours before we left yesterday! If you haven't demoed one of these in the water, you will never truly appreciate the RI. That is where they stand out. I can have a surfer riding, let go of the wheel, and the boat just continues strait. They ride and handle surprisingly well. I wouldn't write them off because of minor interior issues when you have major performance advantages.

Been a slow summer for me and photos. Have been focusing on just enjoying it instead of running cameras but this weekend with all regular riders I had to sneak in a little heel side action even tho she wouldn't get off the wave. even got a first timer up out there, you can tell cuz he looks terrified haha

One of the others probably got it, but forst thing is to make sure you are actually in neutral. Made that maistake a fee times, and every time it happens, I am like holy crap what the %^{^{! I have gotten in the habit of checking the throttle first (and last, becaus it is always it). On an old tige, i had the neutral switch going bad problem. Very intermittent and very annoying. If you have this problem and you are sure you are in neutral, take it out of neutral and then go back to neutral and try again. Try a few times, and if it tirns over, you have found your problem.

Sounds like your neutral safety sensor/switch is on its way out. When they start to go the sensor thinks the boat is in gear. So it would act the exact same way as it would if you left the boat in gear and were trying to start it. The good news is that if I happen to be right, you won't have to pay freight on the whiskey. We're pretty much neighbours.
