Cleaner lip all the way to the front, that's what mine is lacking. What is your trim tab set at? Do you think the rudder key makes a difference? The 244 has a 14" prop with the cut away in the hull, correct?

The darksiders all get face shots when they're up close in the pocket. Not sure if I should try the mud flap or the winged plate to fix it.

Trim tab set at around 25% that seemed to work pretty well. I have the rider profile set to start out at 0%, but noticed if I tweak the trim tab down a little it helps. I did adjust the rudder key to a 45 degree angle, and it did help clean up the goofy side a bit (obviously I have LH rotation) yes to 14" prop. We were in fairly shallow water in that picture around 10 feet deep

Rough windy days at the river a couple weeks ago. The best we could get before we were blown off the water. A picture of my sons friend.

CLEAN!!!

Here was ours from this past weekend. For reference, my son is 6'2" for size of wake. The other pic is a good view of a proper wake on the good side of the boat. Don't know hey anyone would try the other side.

Were you really looking at the wave RVR? lol

Haha, but in all seriousness - being a darksider, I agree...nice wave! Super clean face.

LKASurfing, what is your setup, speed and prop?

LOL

Biggest thing is the Port wing plate I added. The design was from another board member Mac. Best mod yet!!

Prop is the stock High altitude Prop

speed is 11.2

Trim is 100%

Weight is actually very little. Factory QFS (500lb) Rear PnP 750, factory mid ballast set up but with a 400lb bag & then about another 100lb in a brick! under the seat.

two kids in the boat!

I know I can add more weight and go bigger, but I am super stoked to have that kind of wake with an awesome drive for all under the seat! Plus we can ride way far back. I could show my Port wake, but it looks great like everyone else's! I am proud of that GOOFY wake since, I am GOOFY!

What is the water depth? Less that 10' will impact your wave..

Your set up seems really close to LKASurfing's set up, yet his looks a lot deeper and taller. Maybe put the 750 up on the seat, with it sitting on the floor it maybe too close to midship. Starboard is crazy sensitive. Or when you get your 1100lb'er in the back locker you'll be set.
