New kid in town

I hope this isn't overstepping any lines here, but I figured the community might be ok with it.

 

Some of you already know this but most of you don't. I've been keeping it to myself until the time was right. No, I haven't switched to Tige. LOL. I'd like to introduce you to https://kanukboardco.com/ The first and only Canadian wakesurf company (that we know of). Hand made custom wakesurf and skim boards.

 

Several months ago, a friend of mine and I were approached by a couple guys who were starting up a wakesurf brand and wanted us to ride for them. I was hesitant at first because it was little more than an idea. But after spending some time with them and talking a lot about the direction of the company I was fully on board. What wasn't planned was just how much I'd be involved in it all. It's been fun, and it's been stressful. But most of all, it's very exciting to be a part of.

My favorite board is the Darkstar. It's honestly one of the fastest boards I've ever ridden.

There has been some very cold test days all winter long. I'm pretty brutal at skim, so... yeah. Good thing I'm not the only one that's been testing them.

Don't worry... that was an early prototype. We got all the kinks worked out now. You should see this one we made for Lily! It's ultra thin... I don't have much faith in it though, just something were trying out. Bryce should be bringing a couple boards down. I've gotta find some time to make mine!
