Shuswap area is at 85% normal for snow pack . Our winter ended 30 days early this year so, our lake level is rising 30 days early.

http://www.shuswaplakewatch.com/dailyaverage.php

While we will not run out of water or have a boating season jeopardized, low water blows as the Shuswap's boat launches are not designed for low water levels....then again it may rain all of June which it often does then none of this matters.

Screw it...its National Beer Day...that solved it

It's fine. We are still getting snow on our mountains in the lower mainland. all last week and all this week as well. BC will be the last place to be effected by any drought. If we have issues the rest of the world is Fuuuuuuuuuuuu :). This is why our housing prices will always be high. We have the most resources.

Anything helps. Some good news for you guys down south :)

Unfortunately not much help in Nor Cal. Clear Lake is now starting our irrigation releases........the beginning of the end. We will probably have to take the boat off the lift in early August.

:censored: That sucks. I hope my little mud puddle holds or I'm screwed. I doubt it will.My only other option is the river which is a 300 mile tow one way

Lake Anderson is down 20 feet from this time last year. From what I have been reading in the reports. Most NorCal lakes are under 50% capacity and many are in the 20-30% range. Tough Times.

That's hopeful thinking there. Study's show you can't predict the weather but you sure can predict the damage that's been done since climate change.... and it doesn't look good for California or the rest of the world. Really wish these so called scientists would stop giving false hope

Half of Canada is currently on fire. Far from quiting but giving false scientific assumptions on weather and misleading people is just wrong IMO. As most of our food comes from California... even Canada's food. Really hope these claims are correct. But another part of knows they are just assumptions.

These wild fires are getting out of control. So far this year i Canada we have lost over 1 million hectares. We are only 1/3 through summer here. We didn't have daylight in vancouver for a week straight because of it. Whole new world we are living in
