I Came from a mastercraft and before that two years on a friends mailbu. The Centurions are the best bang for your dollar. I wanted a boat that could handle everything my family and friends could throw at it. skiing, wake boarding, tubing, surfing, party cove. Also you get this online community that helps each other out with any question you mite have.

welcome kx. I got an 08 C4 and it works great for being and all around boat(tube,board,surf, even ski). but if all your doing is surfing and some wake boarding... then Centurion is your brand, but the C4 is not for you. I Second what dark says find an Avalanche or enzo.

do you have a lot of people with you? or gear? if so try to move heavy weight to the bow.

my vote is on the maxxis Just switched from the Carlisle and what a difference. went on a 300 mile camping trip with the M8000's. temp was high 90's in to the 100's with highway speeds and mountain roads with grades. I will never go back to anything else.
