Here is my 2007 216. New prop. 1579 from a 497. New Blue and new sea dek. Not quite a match on color but still very pleased.

Thanks for the compliments everyone. My wife and i are going to sams for some wetsuites tonight. Hopefully on the water tomm. Water temp areound 55. Thats farkin cold.

Not as bad as you think, try to find some wet suit booties you can keep your hand and neck out of the water, WakeDiva went in at 52 and was 47 where she came out and believe me that was huge for her. Key is in and driver get you out of the water as quick as possible and quick to get back after a fall. Hate to admit it but, that is the only time that we will power turn.

Thanks for tip. With those kinds of water temps Im sure that there are not to many other boaters so rollers should not be a problem.

We surf in 40 degree water for a month or so. It sucks but a good dry suit, booties and gloves make it way way way better.

Take a thermos of hot water out with you. Pour it in the suit before jumping in. Makes a huge difference.

 

Very cold water is when I go illeagal and launch from the swimdeck, but shhh. You'll scratch that Blue Lake so don't do it with a good board.

 

Post up tomorrow as I bet you'll say 'damn, why didn't I change to this prop in the beginning? Completely different feeling boat, rip your arms off." Have fun.

That is an Rankin cover. If you look closely at the back of the boat cover, you will see there web site on the cover.

Yes that is a Rankin cover. I love it and it fits like a glove. They are out of business now but cory at evolution makes the same cover with better cust service.

Holy shite does this new prop change the boat. Lots of pulling power. Didnt get in the water as we did not get our wet suits but it sure does pull.
