I am very happy with the 2010 Ram so far. It has a lot of power, gets an average of 15 mpg, tons of room in the crew cab and tows the boat well. We will see how it tows in 120 degree heat up long grades this summer.

I dont know about the '11 model Dodges or any 1/2 ton trucks...But I know my '07 2500 Cummins tows my boat like there's nothing behind it.

 

If GM would put a solid Dana 60 in the front of the 2500-3500 series Duramax trucks, i'd probably consider one of them next go-round.

I would love if they had the smaller diesel engines here in America. Ideally I would like a four door midsize truck with a smaller diesel engine. These big trucks do not sense when you live in one of the major US cities (traffic/parking) - the problem is there are really no other truck options that will tow a boat well.

 

 

Apparently the Challenger was developed for the US market so you might want to keep an eye out for it (was only released in Oz last year which was 12 months ahead of schedule).

it's a bloody good 4WD too, has all the top end Mitsubishi running gear. Pulls the boat easily at 110km/h (65mph)

Thanks, they are 20" KMC knock offs, and just ordered the same for the trailer! Hoping it will look as good as Fro's dual Avy set up!!! Nice!!!
