Thanks for the pics. Yes you have to love the 20yr financing plan. I call it the never never plan. Never own it, never pay it off Unfortuately thats what one needs to be able to afford to buy a new boat unless you are rich. The price of new boats has gone crazy. I didn't go to the Vancouver boat show so I don't know if Centurion was there or not. A friend did post a pic of a 24MXZ. It had the 555hp supercharged caddy engine. Boat show price: $130,000

X2 You are going to kill the resale value on it. Without knowing the exact numbers (which are obiviously private), i'm going to make a few guesses. I'm assuming that your large payments are from the financing company and that you didn't add money to the payment to pay it off sooner. So most of you payment is paying interest. I'm going give an example as it will make it easier to explain. My example, Say you owe $50K but the boat is worth $40K. You go use it in the ocean and you have just reduced the value say by $5k. now its worth $35 but you still owe $50K. now your $15k upside instead of $10k. IMO sell it and cut your losses. Just me .02 I too was upside down when i had my boat and it was more then you. I sold it for what I could get for it at the time and cut my losses. It was a tough lesson to learn. I will never buy a brand new boat again.

And you gain storage with a C4 when you arent sacked out

I didn't say the bu and moomba were the same as the FX22. It was more of a statement as more and more manufacturers have made a boat model with a square front end or picklefork or call it what you want. They have gone away from the traditional bow to compete with the manufacturers that already have a model like/similar to it.

Bu just made one and i didnt know moomba made one as well. they old saying goes, "if you can't beat them, join them".

I think the price of the new boats has made a easy descision for people to hang onto there boats. Good luck with your hunt
