gonna hope to get the boat wet today and do some tinkering with the new ballast setup. water temp is 53, air temp is supposed to hit 75 today so me and the 6 YO are heading out. couple quick cannonballs and hopefully the balls to get the wetsuit wet....... we'll see

@ 53 degrees, 1 cannonball, + shrinkage, you should be able to get your balls into your wetsuit!!! Man that's cold! I think my swimming pool water doesn't get that cold during winter.

If you've got a 4/3 wetsuit of thicker you'll be good to go. My wife and I go year round and in Dec/Jan our lakes are mid 50s. She has a 4/3 surf style full suit and I have a 5/4/3 surf style full suit. My buddy that regularly goes with us has a 7mm diving suit and he gets hot.

Holy wall of water!!!!! I'll take pics today and try to post. We're going again. All the mods wrked, one leaky connect that needs a screwdriver. Dead battery at the launch. Thank god for the wetsuit, allthough I was expecting a great white to surface me.....I look like a good meal, I'd say it's "winter weight" but I'd only be lying to myself

Yep, and yep. I work shift work, so I'm off mid week a lot when it's sunny. But then there's nobody to go with! Lol. Can't win
