Your boat looks even better now H!!

Happy to hear your kid taking an interest. Hope mine comes around. Loves being on the boat, but mostly just to swim.

I was surprised how nice a goofy wave my boat makes. It was super easy to dial in and I don't have an a plate or cats. I want to sell end of season and get a 238 but will have to demo first. Our regular and goofy wave is going to be hard to beat

we found the goofy wave easier to setup. required less weight. made a bigger and longer wave.

turning around is easier as well.

I must be doing something wrong cause I thought the regular was supposed to be that easy..

Every 226 I've been on the goofy wave sucks. Granted I knew more about the boat then they did. Are both if you listing or using quicksurf? Both boats I was on tried quicksurf and had maybe 500lbs bags in rear lockers. I hear that you need 1100's. I'm hoping the 238 throws q sick goofy wave. If not I'm going axis this winter.

What year and or prop rotation do you have? If it's RH, that's why.

Not sure how this could happen to me but now we will be leaning both ways.

I feel your pain; everyone in my extended family surfs goofy ...... except me.

Nice. Already planning a trip for next summer. Absolutely killer lake and the night boating was by far the best beating I have ever done. Kinda funny every boat on the lake came in at 8pm as we were heading out.... LOL

mine's a 08 avalanche

with a custom aplate that has tabs on both sides.

I adjust it up as far as it will go. we run listed.

1100 rear locker, 8 people in the boat. sometimes we add 350 on the seat behind the captain plus everyone sitting starboard, bow to platform.

when we run regular

its same people all siting port, 1100 rear locker, 750 under observers seat.

sometimes we add the 350 on the seat. however it just doesn't compare. I can see that the angle of the wave coming off the boat on port is much more close to parallel. along with the sweet spot being 5-10 feet closer in.

port side we run about 15-17 feet of rope off the tower,

starboard can stick it out past 25 feet.

maybe we need to speed it up a touch, as we just recently found that the perfect pass speedo is not correct according to gps on the phone..

we were running about 12.2 on pp which turned out to be more like 10.5 on three separate phones..

The paddle-wheel-based PP on my 07 Enzo 240 was off by the same amount. Funny.

The people that made the paddle wheel speedo were probably riding on rockballer's boat first... ;)
