Modesto is about 45 miles north of Merced (location of Centurion West) and about 90 miles east of San Francisco.

It's not much of a vacation spot in and of itself, but it's close to SF, Santa Cruz, Napa, and Tahoe.

I am starting to wish I lived somewher other than northwest Iowa. Nothing here...except the Okobojis. Party destination and not much more.

You know...Yellowstone Park is just 90 miles from where I'm at...plus deep powder snowmobiling in the winter and 3 really close ski mountains! :)

Dang Dave when can I borrow the Trident for a session???

I love my DD Carbon XL but I am just too damn big and muscular :innocent: for it!!! I really need a DD Carbon XXL. Drew hook a brother up!!! :unworthy:

Hey big!

Got the new Trident in hand, and coming home Friday. This weekend is toast (2 family reunions) but should be able to get together next week. You up for an early morning ride? I think you will love the Trident.

Tomarrow morn!! 2 weeks off!!:surfing2::Rockon:

So I am finally home from my Florida business trip and last night we went out for the first time. I was so excited to ride my new Trident! Well we got to Utah lake, and the wind was blowing hard, but we went out anyway. we had to go to the extreme northwest corner of the lake and the water was only 6 feet deep, so the wake kind of sucked. First time on the board I rode out my first ever 360!!! Was able to stick it a couple of times last night with a subpar wave!!!! To me that was worth all the money spent on that board. I have been trying that trick for several years, I can get around okay, but just can't ride it out! Turns out I just needed to be riding a board made for someone my size, go figure! Anyway, the board is great, and very fun to carve it up with. Still need to experiment with different fit combinations. FUN FUN FUN!

Awesome Dave! I am still searching for that elusive 360 landing! I can't wait to try out the Trident. Once the kids go back to school in 2 weeks my schedule is gonna free up a ton for some guys surf trips.

Looking forward to it! I am 225, and this board feels like it can handle a LOT more!

Guess that's for the "big" part of your name... What's the "cat" part for... hopefully not what I'm thinking... :spiteful::cat:

Sorry, couldn't resist.

Dave, that's AWESOME that you finally landed the 360! Sorry for the hi-jack.
