  1. Nobody is more stoked about this deal than I, but it seems like saying it is worth half a million dollars is maybe stretching it a little. Nonetheless very cool!
  2. Yeah the aluminum ones are garbage. Had mine welded twice, and finally replaced them with the Stainless steel ones. Just bite the bullet and get it done.
  3. Took my boat out first time this year had the same water pump issue. To compound that I may have forgot to put the plug in the boat. And the bilge pump quit working as well. Belt, water pump bilge pump plus labor, goodbye $1g. Usually I fix it but going to be traveling for work the next 2 months and the wife is going without me! Can't wait around for me to get to it.

  5. James Walker Big Boy Flyboy?

Love that the board is marked DOWN from $850.00 to a whopping $849.99. Pre order yours new and save a penny:).
  6. Praesto, Sounds like you need to find a different detailed! I have a guy here in Utah who is an absolute genius when it comes to repairing damaged finishes, be that cars, planes or boats. He has done me a great job on everything! He comes to me, no muss no fuss. If anyone in Utah is looking for someone, his name is Greg at Reflections Detailing in Logan. http://www.reflections-detailing.com/ He does work all up and down the Wasatch front.
  7. Shred Stixx

I am 6' 210 lbs, and I have ridden a thresher. I rode it back to back with the Ja Mako which is supposed to be for someone my size. The Thresher was soooo much more responsive and fun to ride! But at my weight you had to be working the board the whole time! None of this sitting back and cruising. It was small for me, but I sure had a good time riding it, and I NEVER do surf style.
  8. Bombora boards

I have dropped by their place and looked at their boards in person. They are made in China, and are truly JUNK!!!! They tried to rip off a couple of different shapes, and no board building knowledge has gone into them. Additionally, my 8 year old could have done a better job on the graphics, and the finish work on the boards. Might work for making a dock bench though!
  9. FX22 Pics

Other than geeleing that the overall look of this boat is just horrible, they really seem to have not really thought through what they were trying to achieve with this boat. The while reason in my opinion to have the pickleork bow is to create MUCH more room up front. Fom the pictures the bow is only the size of a skimboard! I always have 4 to 6 kids in my bow, this looks like it would only hold 2. Xjust not sure what they were going for.
  10. Supreme V232 Vs Centurion

Supreme really upped their game when designing the 226. Really everything on the boat is much nicer. The real difference though is the hull, that is what really makes that boat a surfing machine. Having been on one several times, and it is similar to an 2009 and older Centurion, but maybe a little more rough edges. By the way, that is my boat I am comparing it with. The fit and finish, and especially the upholstery of the new Centurions is way nicer. I get you may not like the bow, but if you want to surf that is really the only Supreme you want, you can find MANY better options for a surf boat, if you exclude the 226 because of the bow.
  11. Supreme V232 Vs Centurion

If he is a surfer, and is looking at Supreme what he wants is the 226. Has a pickle fork bw, and an awesome surf wake. Very similar wake to my 230 Enzo. The other supreme models have a very different hull, and are not that great for surfing. Also the 226 is HUGE inside, all wrapped up in a 22 foot boat. This is what Centurion is trying to do with their new pickle fork that isn't a pickle fork but a hammerhead that looks like a pickleork:). So....no on the 232, yes on the 226.
  12. Sewlong Surf Racks

Just give Justin a call at sew long.com. He will give you a quote for your boat over the phone.
  13. Sewlong Surf Racks

Got the bimini, got the racks. Will not do anything else ever. My buddy has a 3 year Old MC his canvas is junk. He is going to have sew long do all new canvas, and put their Bimini on his boat. They never use their Bimini, because it is too hard to put up. Ours goes up in literally 30 seconds. Unzip the cover, unfold the bimini, insert 2 pins.
  14. I wouldn't recommend anyone but custom covers. My cover is 5 years old, and the webbing around the edge started to fray, and it started to get a small tear. Took it back to them expecting to buy a NEW cover. Instead they said oh no, the webbing is warranted, they unstutched it, sewed in new, and fixed the small tear. Cover is like new again. Cost for this? A smile and a thank you. Great guys, terrific service, and awesome covers. Talk to Justin. He owns the place. Website is www.sewlong.com
  15. SURF GATE

You can usually buy locally at sign stores. I actually have some I was going to fab a piece for the Enzo and give it a shot. Nice thing with this is you can use your router and round over all of the edges and make them smooth so no worries about someone getting hurt.
