November pics and video 2015

I've been wanting to add some art to the bottom of my new Soulcraft all summer. So I finally decided to give it a go. Bought a black paint pen from an art supply store and downloaded a pic I liked and went for it! While I'm not 100% stoked on how it turned out! I'm happy with it I guess.

Looks cool! I hope it stays on there! The kid did the same to her fins and it came off, even when I sprayed clear coat over them the second time.

Thanks. Yeah, I thought about spraying clear over it. Maybe it'll stay on with our cold water here vs Az!

So it was a super fail for video on the RI237 2 weeks ago since my sd card got accidentally formatted and Sleighs gopro session footage was mostly blown out by the sun angles. The only good pics he got are now on his board website so go check out all the pics he posted in the gallery, homepage, and team rider section. The boards are awesome and Ill post up some video soon when I get mine in.

Also the kid rides for Sleigh boards for skim and surf now but she still has the only skimmer he has ever made and dont know if he will make another one lol.

Ok I lied, he did have some video but didnt want to release it until today I guess lol. It was an epic weekend of surfing with Josh, Sean, and Emily stying with us and the video pretty much sums up all 3 days. Most of the footage is behind the RI237 but some of the listed ones are from behind my orange FS44 and the green 2016 FS44 that we were testing for my dealer Century Marine. You can tell the ri wave by any transfers and when the rooster is spraying straight up and over the wave and its bigger than either of the 44 footage.

He is a pro ocean surfer, and shaper following in his dads footsteps, the legend R.Sleigh (Randy Sleigh). He shaped Hailey's skimmer last year and a few custom wakesurfers for a few people 2014/2015 seasons. But he just launched his core wakesurf brand a few months ago at the surf expo in florida. Hes a super cool, down to earth guy and the boards are awesome hand shaped with a super glossy bright finish!

Water temp is alllll the way down to 74 now so we might have to bust out our spring suits in december sometime

 

We went out on a friends G (obvious by the bad wash on the wave pics since they wouldn't let me help weight it) and some friends from up north in Canadia (Chad and Nicole Hudson) dropping their FS44 off for storage down here and enjoying our weather. The kid is working on her superman airs so she can transitions to a superman air to paddle in and shes getting real close to landing her air reverses now. I rode my wakewood big cheese longboard most of the day, but got a little time in backside on both my soulcraft and the "longboard". I tried out some F8 futures fins on my 4'8" fangtail and they released great and spun 3's easily, so ill be buying some of those now especially since the kid stole my f4's and are her new "magic fins" now lol.

Sorry about the shaky phone footage, the gopro got left at home.

Yea the last 5 are on Chads FS44 using QS all full excepts only 80% ram on non surf side, QS tab at 80, center tab at 30 CATS at 10 reg and -10 goofy and 11.7 mph.
