We had a couple of great days on the water this weekend. The wife, my 15 year old and myself. Wife and I I rode for the first time this season. It was awesome (no..I'm not good...it was just fun....wave was great.. lake was great)! No need for the wetsuit....water was a refreshing 69. Gave my son a very hard time until he took off the wetsuit!

Hit the lake this weekend...mid 70s already in VT, lake water was 53º on the surface but had to be lower 40's a few inches down when the boat stirred up the water...thank goodness for dry suits! Didn't shoot any surfing videos yet, but pulled out the Phantom 2 for some cool aerial shots. No boats, no wind and about 125 miles of lake to play with up here!

 

We're cruising along at 22mph here. The soundtracks are by 20syl...first one is Kodama, second one is Back & Forth.

Awesome video's. All that glass water and no one out shredding on it. what a shame.

How many fins did it come with? I would start with two so you can get the feel of it. Then you can work down to one. Good luck!

Came with 3, I already put 2 on thruster style. Not sure if I will want to work down to 1 but I'm sure I will at least try out skim. Was really excited to see this board could go skim and surf style.

Very nice! I like its versatility also. A bunch of my friends use it! It's their favorite board!

Overall love it. It is a lot more slippery than the ocean board I used last time so at first I was sliding out, where's my first pull ever with the ocean board was a few minutes long.

 

But I can tell its way better for this application. It's CRAZY fast feeling compared to the other board. The picture with the loose line above I actually leaned forward and into the wake and just took off into toward the boat and leaned back a few feet before the platform and slowed down too much.

 

I'm about to jump back in and try to get rid of that rope and stay in it for a bit!

That and loves it under the helm so I don't want to add a sub and scare her off
