I've gotta say, after trying both boats I think the FS33 wave is every bit as good as the FS44. Yes, the FS44 has larger ramfill tanks but keep in mind that it's also a larger boat (surface area) and thus requires more weight to displace. The FS44 has more interior room, the FS33 has more storage, other than that I honestly believe these boats are equally fantastic in the wave department. Either way you've got the best wake surf setup on the water.

Agreed

Had another amazing day out on the water today. Third surf so far and it's only May 8th! SurferAdam had me out(thanks again man!) on his beautiful wave making machine, the FS33! Had such a good time with a great group of people that all love wakesurfing! Watching Adam effortlessly spin threes and just surf like a total boss makes me wonder why I suck so much. LOL. Thanks to his advice I actually did much better spinning threes. Almost, ALMOST rode away with one. I'll have them soon!

Anyway, here's some pics!

Big bottom turn

And just so he doesn't get too much notoriety, he does fall too!

Last night was day 6 on the lake...working on +100 days! Back out today...mid 80s and soon shedding the dry suit and booties. Now if only that dang board I ordered from TWP in February would show up??!!

Little example of list, about 2-3 inches from rub rail at back corner. 540 locker, 540 port seat

Went out today with my mom and she had a blast taking these pictures. Tropical storm forecast said 80-90% all day but barely got wet. So much fun!

Btw this was with the noseless ocean surf board I asked about over the winter

Welcome to being hooked on wakesurfing! Looking forward to seeing all the money you're about to spend on boards and ballast upgrades! LOL

Yep! Wait till you get that wave dialed in and you go ropeless for about ten minutes straight for the first time! Euphoric!!!

I'm already considering finding a good first surf style board. This board works but it felt like I really had to be pushing into the wake to feel the rope loosen at all.

I also need a surf rope, didn't like using the wake rope but it's what I had

A lot of us have gone through all the things you're experiencing. I actually bought a big Rubbermaid container to fill with water until my 400's were available! Part of your issue getting enough speed is your board. Part is the wave. And part is likely your ability. And don't get me wrong, I mean no offence. It just takes some time to figure it all out. You'll be there in no time!

None taken! I'll try to hold off on a new board until I get a few more sets under me
