2015 Supreme s226 vs 2013 SV244

7000 feet... you'd better get a big motor and high altitude prop to match. Those that have a 226 will tell you that it's amazing and has plenty of room inside. But I guarantee you that it's nowhere near as big inside as the 244. I'm goofy footed and I wouldn't buy a Centurion without the A-plate and Cats. Those two options together really help clean up the goofy wave even when there's counterweight.

Hope you can find the right boat to foot the bill!

Does this year have the A-plate and Cats? I don't remember when it came out. Definitely get it if it does. If you don't care about the Goofy wave as much it may not matter as much but if you do it does. Dark and Dura will attest to that!

The two indentical topics have been merged into one topic in the Supreme Boats General Discussion sub-forum since Supreme was the first brand in the topic title.

The enzo he's looking at is in Hurricane at Rodger's Performance. No cats it looks like it has a-plate.

Did you test the s226 with the new quick surf system? I think that is the hang up, Centurion has a notoriously good reputation for wake surfing, but the Supreme has the room we like. I am leaning toward the Supreme because of the new quick surf but am curios if it has been tested by anyone this early in the year yet.

BAMF,

Check out this thread and video in post #19 in particular.

http://www.centurioncrew.com/index.php/topic/9659-fs44-quicksurf-retrofit-done-now-testing-all-settings/

It's done on FS44 and can give you and idea on what the quick surf tabs will do.

You can probably get a really good "non-listed" wave but maybe not quite as good as the traditional list without the system???

Nobody has posted a detailed review on the 226 like this as of yet but again my speculation is it won't result in much different end result......................

Thanks Viking. Since we both surf on different sides it is important that both throw a good wave. And obviously since I surf goofy....I want my wave better. lol! Toonk8ty and I are running out of time on either ordering a new 2015 or getting on with buying this used 2013 centurion enzo sv244. I am guessing we can't really go wrong with either boat. If I had to pick between a consistently good wave vs storage, I will take the wave.

As mentioned before you will definitely WANT cats and a-plate for goofy which neither the 226 nor 13-244 is going to have! That being said your best option ($$ ignored) is to order new FS

The 226 does not need an a plate or cats to make a nice clean goofy wave

If you are a family of four and you regularly invite another family out with you get the 24 footer. We started with a 22' boat (Supra), then upgraded to 23' (SV230) and now have the SV244. You can never have too much room. And at 7000' you will definitely need the high altitude prop and an upgraded engine.

What he said^^^

But as you can tell, everyone has their own preference. I have one question... Have you sat in either of them or ones like them? You can't go by pictures. Sitting in it won't help you find out how it performs, but it may help you decide what you like better in terms of size, feel, quality and creature comforts.
