Will I be happy with a sealed box ?? Jl calls for 12"deep X15"wide X 15" tall If I cut the bulk head I am fairly sure I can make it fit

well I think I will get a sealed box set it under the helm and fire up the system once I finish the install . If im happy with the output ill cut the bulk head wall mount the sub and build a removable kick panel.

There is always the L7 15" sealed route to go... That Arc would push it.... Even a 12" L7 has more surface area than the JL 12".... Food for thought...

how big of a box does it need ?? I like kicker gear and think it would be a good option if I can get away with a smaller sub box.

For the 15" L7, 1.5 cuft minimum sealed/3 cuft ported, for the 12"L7 is .88 cuft sealed/ 1.75cuft ported...

No not yet trying to finish everything else then plan to build a custom box .Going with a w6 or an L7
