Probably time to upgrade some amps though.

Starboard under the Fosgate Sub and behind the Kicker Amp. Dr.Nate dialed in the sub even better than it was.

just curious rhuntill, whyd you have the sub mounted in that compartment? i have only seen them mounted under the driver

I just thought the speaker would be better protected in the storage compartment. I think the sound would have been better at the drivers feet and my foot would be the one that goes through the speaker. The observer seat does feel good when the sub hits. That's what she said!

i feel ya there, we we tested our boat they had the subs under the compartment, and the passengers seat was great! it defanatly would be more protected under there good idea in that thought!

After being in DrNate's boat and seeing how his sub is installed I'm thinking on cutting a 2" to 4" hole behind the glove box right up against the windshield. My thoughts are that this will create a giant ported box and the curve of the windshield will be a mini amphitheater projecting the sound to the back of the boat.

Thoughts?

Is that box ported or sealed Rhunt? Also it looks like you have the speaker firing under the bow seat?

Sealed, Yes firing under the bow seat. I didn't want the speaker to get damaged that is why I faced it forward. Your thoughts on the hole behind the glove box, True. DrNate's boat has this cut in on the side above the built in cooler/walk through area. When his sub hits you can feel the air move.
