don't have the quick surf but the 226 is easy to set up. slam what ever side you want to surf tell the rub rail touches the water. for regular side set trim at 35% for goofy set to 100% speed should be 11.2 MPH to 11.6 MPH and BOOM one of the best waves in the BIZ.

I have a 14 so no quick fill I run custom 226 enzo style sacks but set up is close to the same as the hull has not changed. Wakemakers has custom sack upgrades for the new S226 that I would recommend to get the most out of your boat. The 226 does not need much counter weight so just start with the bow tank full surf side ballast full and surf side quick fill full. set speed and trim as stated above then go from there. add counter weight tell it starts to affect your wave in a negative way. once that happens lose some counter weight and your dialed. I only run 200 LBS of counter weight. I keep 200 LBS of lead in each locker that I do not move plus an extra 300 LBS of lead in the bow to give the wave that extra length.

no I do not believe there is a gauge for the quick surf just a couple switches. there is adjustment but no way to tell exactly where the tabs are set to

Numbers are just that... numbers. Hold the appropriate switch down until wave looks the best, then let go.

I had a horrible demo on a s226. Needles to say I knew more about setting up the boat than he did. They didn't have nearly enough weight like I have been told on this site. Huge disappointment because I hear so many great things about these boats. Any of you guys have pics of your goofy side wave dialed in? Quick surf and listed?

Gator 808,

Here's a pic if Goofey wave on my buddies 2015. Not sending you any pics with the surf tabs as they are useless. List the boat for a great wave

Goofey wave on the 226 is clean and long. Oh ya, it's pretty tall too!!!

You will not be disappointed and will literally have the wave dialed in on your first day

Travis,

I hear levels are so low that the Merwin launch is non useable? I know you are at Campers Hideaway but can you confirm about the launch?

If you ever need a 3rd let me know, nice wave BTW.

Thanks,

Lololololol, man that's too funny.

Each time I would try and download it gave me error. That was some technology I used from my desk top, lol.

Gator, it's weighted same as my. 2014 and a few other friends. 2015's,

Surf side pnp and hard tank full,

Bow ballast full

Port side tab at. 50-75%

Starboard tab at 100%

300 lbs pellet bags under bow filler cushion and walk through

400 lbs pellet bags on floor surfside ( on carpet)

The extra pellets give it a huge long wave and will be clean on both sides

Carter,

Merwin is low. They shut down swift and are draining it to keep Yale and merwin at current levels.

You can still launch at cresap and speeliey ( sp)

But cresap has no dock in the water do you will be swimming out to your boat.

I keep mine moored at lmch but my buddy from Eugene brought his new 2015 226 up this past weekend and stayed.

We had no problem launching his at our dock.

I'll hit you up for sure on a third and anytime you want to bring your boat out, I'll get you into campers hideaway and you can launch there.

If you want to make a weekend of it just let me know as we have plenty of room at our place for guests
