I've never used one but thats what I thought. Had an audio dealer trying to convince me that was the best place for it. Maybe wanted to get off easy on the install!

The single best feature of the WS-420 is its zone volume control. Place it in the glove box and you might as well skip it and use fade through the head-unit. The next big user friendly feature is the dual EQ. This allows you finger tip tweaking of the of the in-boats and tower, independent of each other.

I've seen guys on wake 9 put them in the locker, and I say wtf, all the answers here are right, and it also adds really cool LED's In the boat as well!!!

turned out great, i will get pics of the sub, amps and the ws420, its above the key on the right side flush with the panel. turned out great, i am very pleased.

Hey can you let me know where exactly you placed your clamp for the outside pair of speakers? Looks great.
