Silly question, couldn't you put the nose end in, then the fins wouldn't be an issue? That's how my factory sleeves are.

It looks to me like he nose end IS in in that photo....

Troy, be careful. The factory sleeve also has a bungee cord that you are supposed to put behind he fins to make sure it stays put. I didn't realize that when I put my Shred Stixx in Surferadams Bimini sleeve and it flew out just missing someone's head. Just something to think about.

Yes the board is nosed in. I was just idling from the cove to the ramp so I didn't fully insert the board into the sleeve. If I was going for a cruise or wakeboarding I would put the strap on it or put the board into the sleeve where the fins were past the bungee cord

Last one in time for a long surf weekend next weekend, this honestly should have been the first one with the amount we trailer 989e004b79b6ed9991d3d994b0dd846e.jpg

Just ordered these up for my truck, will be here Monday!

That picture was really deceptive, confused me for a second too!

I forgot to take measurements but here is a pic of were the board slides in. I didn't want to put the board all the way in due to the big fins and it was held in just fine the way it is sitting. d1316360b4ed431f23a328d49399a5e0.jpg

I want to do this to my Bimini also. What did the mod run you cost wise?

If your fins point that way you're going to be disappointed.

I wasn't going off the fins but the length of the board. Now seeing which way the board is pointed, the angle makes the board look about 12" long

The surf board pockets cost about $190. Super cheap compared to adding in another set of board racks. And that was for 2 pockets.

Sorry about the confusing picture. I about dropped by phone climbing up to take the picture so I got scared and took a quick pic and got down. Couldn't afford to loose my phone in the lake.

Titled "Surf board pockets"

Ended up being a summer mod, but finally swapped out trailer jack. Took a few tries for Boatmate to send a conversion plate that would work (they had a "bad batch"), but good to go now!

Finally getting around to posting my winter mods:

1. Upgraded perfect pass to GPS

2. Custom FAE

3. Custom A-Plate to fit with FAE

4. Auto trim tab delete

5.Switch blade install

6. Added 2 transom lights

7. New swim deck

8. Ronix eight.3 wake shaper

Now I need to find the time to use everything, took it out for a quick spin before I parked it in the slip and the wave looked pretty legit without any real ballast......post-5622-0-99029600-1464061739_thumb.jpgpost-5622-0-92094000-1464061756_thumb.jpgpost-5622-0-82345600-1464061770_thumb.jpgpost-5622-0-99888100-1464061794_thumb.jpg

That's an interesting plate! Is there any splash?

Stoked - I only took it for a quick cruise and I did not notice any splash.... We really did not see another way to make the A-plate work without cutting it, there is a lot going on and we fit a lot in such a small area (switchblade + FAE)....

As much as I didn't want to cover up Jeff's beautiful Soulcraft logo, sorry man, it bothered me even more seeing it upside down all the time.

So, I did a little mod. Hope it lasts. The rest of it hasn't shown any signs of coming off.

Step 1 was sanding down the area with 400grit.

Step 2 was masking the area I didn't want painted.

Step 3 was (duh) spraying the black paint. Was a bit breezy today. Didn't help my poor painting skills.

Step 4 remove masking tape and admire

Not bad...

Step 5 was placement of epic Crew decal

Now if only my new boat would get here!! So bloody excited.
