Make Sure where ever you take it to they have good reputation on repairing gelcoats and fiberglass You need a pro to do it right. If a wake hit the side of the boat and did that, that to me would tell me that the hull was poorly constructed. I thought that the hulls are warrantied for life.

I know Jim Miller of Miller boats in Santa Maria (20miles south of Pismo Beach) and he repairs boats and they do an excellent job. So if you can fine one call him at 805-878-1505

Maybe it's from trailering. Loading into the trailer too fast, and impacting the trailer in too deep of water at a high angle could give that result. I don't know if that is under lifetime warranty.

You probably hit something in the Delta. That place has a lot of crap thats at the bottom. My friend would sit at the bank and watch boat after boat hit the sandbar when they would come around a corner from his old house. He told me that he'd never take his Malibu boat to the delta.

If you saw my DIY gelcoat repair thread last year, the big damage to the inside port chine was not anything we ever felt or heard.

I'm going to get it checked out, I think if I hit a sand bar I would feel it. It's on both sides now but stated out only on one side that's why I am leaning towards maybe a poorly built hull. I can't see hitting something twice and it happening on almost the same spot on both sides. As for loading it to fast we launch out of rivers end and if you even been there you don't have much room to turn around let alone get some speed lol. Thanks for all the info and ideas fellas!

I am agreeing with you I can't see both sides of the hull doing that.. If you had hit something you know it and it would be on one side. Just for fun I am going to download the Pictures and show them to Jim Miller and see what he thinks. I'll let you know

Does it seem like someone took a hammer and hit the hull from the inside out? Or from the outside in? I'm just curious.

Haha is that a real question? Why would anyone do that? And if that was the case I would be taking that hammer and bang both sides of there head with it, iv been meaning to call you spud but works been busy and haven't had time.

As I was reading over your post I miss read it the first time, yes on one side it dose look like if someone where to take a hammer to it, it would look like it is now, there is a 4-6in half circular spot that is pushing outward.

I think Spud has some experience in this particular matter and is trying to see if it's the same thing.

Sounds to me like something went wrong structurally on the inside. Possibly some sort of rib/crossbeam... I'm just talking outta my pooper though.

Just give me a call when you get a chance, especially before you go spend a bunch of coin. Also Darksider is correct.

Well so far it dosnt look good, took it to a shop and talked to others and all have said it is cracking like that because the structure is broke somewhere, I am going to have a specialist come and look at it also for another opinion but it dosnt look good. The place I took it to today said 5g just to fix the cracks that's not opening it up inside the boat and finding what is broke inside he said ballpark to fix everything around 10g. I have called centurion and talked to Shelly and sent her pics of the cracks and explained them to her but she pretty much told me I am not the original owner so it's not warrantied. I have yet to her back from her so we will see how long and of she ever gets back to me.....

Yikes.

Should it really matter if you're the original owner? I mean, I get it, but come on. Although, how long would it be warranty'd if you we're the original owner?

Sorry to hear your having this issue

I don't think it should matter I bought a centurion because they are good boats if I would have known that they don't value their customers I would have bought a different brand, but I can't say anything bad about them yet it's only been a couple days. As for how long the warranty is for I'm not sure I have looked on like an if I was the original owner I think structurally it's lifetime and everything else is 15.
