So what has changed for 2018 ri237 and ri257 besides new hull for 237 and different vinyl for both?

What I wish they would change:

The radio controls -- should be a knob to turn volume up or down.

The silent stinger sleeve needs to be re-done mine has ripped twice.

The pull out seat needs some sort of locking mechanism, ive almost killed myself stepping on it and it slipping out.

The built in cooler in the walk through to the bow cant be opened if the wind damn is in place, needs a bit of re-engineering.

I don't know if this is doable and would probably be very expensive, but it would be cool if you could move the docking lights up or down, so if you are moving at night and the bow rises you could point the lights down to see better.

Finally I wish you could dim the screen almost completely, again when driving at night the screen is so bright I end up putting a black T Shirt over the screen so that my eyes can adjust to night time conditions.

None of this stuff is major, just little things that I think would be nice.

Put a zld or wetsounds zone control in to solve your stereo problems, way better voltage than the clarion black box also. 

There is a new hose out for the silent stinger 

your centre seat should lock in 3 positions but I have done the same thing as you when it was not in one of those positions by accident 

I put another light in my centre grill pointing angled down for this very reason.

Have you tried to dim the screen through the screen dimmer @chowder2016? I've never tried it but saw it in the menu when I went through.

Yeah it dims it a little, but it is still pretty bright. 

These aren't complaints by the way. I love my boat. It's just little things I noticed that would make everything just a bit nicer for me. In sure some people would find my preferences annoying to them too.

It may not even control cats. On the fi video it said the tabs controlled speed control and stinger plate. Cats is an option now for 2018 so maybe cats control is by screen only. Personally I like having the cats control on steering wheel as it's so easy to adjust while cruising down the lake to adjust for people. I also prefer the older steering wheel over this new one.
