Todays tower reflects the aspects of the late 70s. Kinda squared off, simplistic but yet clunky design. I dont know about those bolt on towers, but this one looks bad.

G force tower SUCKS even pro flight themselves hate them

So you're saying start saving up for a new tower......

 

Which brings up the question: What do people replace the G-force with?

I am lucky enough to live 2 hours away from pro flight so I brought the boat to them. Otherwise you have to ship them your legs and they will build it and ship it back to you.Not sure what there calling it but they replace the upper portion with this.

I was able to use my Bimini I had them put a tower light on it cost me $1300.00

Better yet how do you tow that thing down the road without removing some speakers.? That's roughly 350 lbs hanging on the tower.

must be a PITA, but im sure they have some way of reinforcing the tower and probably do remove some speakers. but there must be such little thinking space in there...

The shipping box that my Rev 10's came in said 50lbs AND THAT WAS JUST 2. I'd say 475-500lb then your gonna pull some 200lb guy wakeboarding LOL I'm thinking......*snap!*
