Here are a couple pics of the cup holder rings and speaker rings that I bought for the interior of the boat they look to be of very good quality and have 32 lites per foot not sure how they will look but for the price I got them for I could not say no.I have not bought any for my pro 485's yet as I'm still researching the differences in rings and what will give the best effect up on the tower.Oh yeah all the rings have red lites.........H

h20king,

32 LEDs per foot? Have you actually measured the spacing of the LEDs? Wouldn't that be an LED every 3/8th of an inch?

18 LEDs per foot would be an LED every 2/3rd of an inch or three LEDs per every 2 inches. Looking at the photos I have questions.

Dave I have not actually measured them yet so I should rephrase and say they have an advertised 32 lites per foot.I got four speaker rings and five cup holder rings for just barley over $200 shipped.

Just thought I would give an update.Well my simple upgrade has turned into a full blown overhaul. So far the build will consist of changing out all the amps to the Arc KS series one 300.4 for the interiors one 300.4 for the 485's and a 1000.1 for the sub. Also I will now be adding a WS 420 EQ and the led rings I had already posted.I will also be adding a third set of interior speakers but now not sure what they will be I am going Friday to demo the WS 650 to see how they stack up against the bullet speakers I already have if they sound better than the bullet's I may be swapping them out and putting the bullets up for sale so stay tuned.Everything should be here by Friday so I will get back to work and update this thread as I make more progress..................H

Thanks rvr-rat I should have some more pics this weekend. My bullet 770hp coax showed up today along with a speaker baffle cup and some polyester fiber fill to isolate one of the speakers from the sub bleeding through since one is getting mounted in the drivers kick panel and my sub hides behind it.I should also say thanks to Dave and Odin at earmark for all the advice and great service. Here are a couple pics of the final pieces to the puzzle.................H

Well I was able to get back to work om my stereo install today.I started by removing the last two amps and making some 3/8 spacer blocks for the new amps.I received an amp rack from Doc but was not thrilled with the way it fit my compartment so I did not use it and instead mounted the amps to the back wall in the observers compartment.Next it was time to make connections I ran all the power, ground, and amp remote turn on leads and tied them into the amps. Now with the amps wired I moved on to looking at how I was going to mount the EQ.I decided that the mount would look better frosted so I taped of the front then put it in the blast cabinet and hit it with glass shot which worked great.Couple questions my head unit has pre outs for front, rear, and sub but the EQ only has provisions for one set in which pre out's on the deck do I run to the EQ ??? also the EQ only has provisions for one set of RCA'S from the EQ to the amps one set for the inboat amp one set for the tower amp and one set for the sub do I need to use splitters to split the signal and if so where?? closest to the amps or the EQ??? there is lots left to do but I think it is starting to come together here are some pics of todays progress.................H

Well I made some more progress today seems everything takes so long to get done.Well I decided to get rid of my cap and go with a couple distribution blocks instead so the first part of my day went to re wiring the amps.I then tried every way I could to mount the LED EQ mount but it just was not going to happen so on to plan two I mounted the EQ on the bottom of the dash which looks OK and then finished ruining all the RCA cables and speaker wire all except for re wiring the tower I decided to save that for another day.Now on to mounting the new bullet 770 hp coax I cut a hole in the kick board mounted the speaker and basket to isolate it from the sub.All thats left is to make the power connections for the EQ, mount one more bullet 770hp coax re wire the tower and install the led speaker rings and cup holder rings so hopefully one mor day and it will all be done. Here are a couple more pics................H

Looks great H! I bet it is going to sound great. My favorite tower set ups it 2xPro 485s. I was at the stereo guy last week and he had a SAN 230 with 2 Pro 485s power by nearly 1,000 Watts each. Absolutely unbelievable.
