Well I finally took this lame item off our boat. We don't pull tubes or skis so it went bye bye. It will be easier on our cover when towing also.

Cool! Are you gonna fill the hole with anything?

So far the only thing I have found that will work is packing a gray hand towel in the hole, but I plan on looking for something better. :unworthy:

I really only have to worry about our 16lb dog putting her leg through the hole.

I've lost keys and cell phones down that hole even with the pylon attached...lol.

I am keeping it. My wife is not sure she likes it being removed.

It will go back on when the boat sells which will be a long time from now.

We finally got out on the boat although it was too windy to ride. My wife found a very important use for the void left from the pylon. It is now her mixed drink holder when she is relaxing on the sun pad. :innocent: We both are happy with the removal now. :surfing2:

Carter can you flip it ? I flipped mine and it works for us, I am searching for some kind of foam plate/ring or something for knees and toes.

Spud,

I cannot flip it. I had a hand towel stuffed in there and it didn't look to bad. The towel will be there during the riding then when it is time to relax the cup will take its place.

I would put my coors light can there but it would end up in the bilge because the hole is larger.

I sure like having the pylon gone. Post a picture if you come up with a permanent fix.
