What head unit does everyone recommend for a 2005 Enzo with the head unit in the glovebox and a separate controller? thanks

If you are needing to fit the new remote into the spot of an existing remote, then the best route to go is to work in reverse, based on what remote best fits the spot. Fusion offers a great LCD rectangle remote and Rockford and Clarion offer a round LCD remote. Sony offered a round remote, but i think its officially been retired, but probably still find them on line. Just note, theres only a couple of Sony head-units that will support that LCD remote, so look close. Sony offers a smaller non display remote, as well as JVC now has a non-display remote for their marine/power sports head-unit.

its the round sony one, I believe it came stock with the boat..... Which one has the best performance?

Bnut, they have different ones but the MW4 is the only square "remote". You may be thinking of the black box displays?

 

Twist, do you need CD? Bluetooth? Anything special?

Looks like Clarions does offer a square remote that does work with a few of the CMD and M series head-units.

I have a square one on my boat, in the back, which I never use, cause I just set the WS420

Yes Centurion uses the small rectangular ones on their boats but are very hard to come across for us... Plus they don't work with every clarion unit like the round ones..

 

You can use the remote with the 420, I don't understand the "I just set the 420" comment I guess..

I just set the volume on my 420 and dive in the water

Also, I hate to hijack a thread, but all those with 420's, has anybody had a problem with the white lettering beginning to rub off?
