muskrat eating platform padding

Anyone have any advice on how to repel them or maybe something to put on the platform to scare them away? I was thinking a fake owl. Or maybe a cover but I bet they would eat through that too. Cant trap or kill.

Why not take off the platform and store it in your house. Unless your boat is still in the water, but I assume it's still a bit cold in sc considering it snowed in dc last night!

RVR….classic….our next door neighbor feeds squirrels everyday and they are everywhere now….this my friend is the answer!

Yeah, its not a problem now. But in summer, where I leave my boat they have destroyed other peoples padding on plstform. Im about to redo mine with hydroturf and don't want them eating it when I leave it in water
