Interior Dimmer?

I am planning on replacing the original interiors with blue LED's and adding some on the outside and was thinking about putting them on a dimmer switch. Has anyone tried it or are there any down sides? I was thinking about putting them on separate switches/dimmers to have indivdual control (inner vs outer) Any ideas?

Just kidding that is the speedo adjust but, I would think you could us something like it to get the effect you want?

I was looking for something very similar, but so far I have only found a slide dimmer. I wanted to keep the interior on a separate switch than the exterior, and was also looking for the best place to order a couple centurion accessory switches.
