How slow are we talking? Im looking for a wakeboard speed of around 18mph with both sides clean, is this doable or am I dreaming?

going at 18.5 and it was clean. I was pretty impressed. We were running zero ballast at that point and wake was still pretty good in size.

Nice. Sounds like what I'm looking for. Demo'ing an Fi23 next week, I think it will come down to budget.

I noticed on the WakeMAKERS website they recommend different size props on the 17 vs the 18. Was there a change in drive shaft angle or something to accommodate a larger prop?  Looking at some used boats at the moment.

Drive shaft angle was changed in 2017, diameter was changed in 2018. I wouldn’t go buy what wakemakers suggests for the ri specially 2017 model year. You want at least a 15” prop on a 2017 and up to a 16” which is the best.
