Water in stereo

We had a huge storm come up and I believe rain got into my head unit on the dash. Any chance of survival for this unit. It is a JBL unit with a CD player. Just wondering if there is some type of fuse inside, fuses good to unit but no power.

There will be either an inline fuse within 6" of the unit or a chassis mounted fuse. But before trying to power back up, you need to make sure the unit is completely dry and quick. Any remaining moisture or calcium deposits from the water, can cause issues. It is possible, but slim, that the unit can recover if dried. powering up allows current to pass between circuits.

Thats what I thought. Any recomendations on a replacement head unit? Running 2 amps, sub, 4 in boats and 4 wet sounds on the tower.
