Windshield tinter in the Denver area?
lleebo replied to phillewis's topic in Centurion Boat Accessories, Electronics and Modifications
Johns Sunroof has a good tinter. They are at Sante Fe and Bellview, -
Thats what I thought. Any recomendations on a replacement head unit? Running 2 amps, sub, 4 in boats and 4 wet sounds on the tower.
-
We had a huge storm come up and I believe rain got into my head unit on the dash. Any chance of survival for this unit. It is a JBL unit with a CD player. Just wondering if there is some type of fuse inside, fuses good to unit but no power.

The clear hose is for my ballast pump. What I really need is the fitting that would go into the fill valve. It looks like a quarter turn quick connect but I cant seem to find any info on it

The hole is for the cocktail table, I thought i would just cut out the stem but I might cut around the base. The color is Luna silver and it took over a month but Ken was awesome in getting it delivered. One thing I was not happy about is how it fits around the seat. I think those seat mounts can vary and mine was off quite a bit.

Here are pics of the fitting I am talking about. Any help with this would be great.

I'll post pics this week at the lake. The motor is a black scorpion

My 03 avy has what I believe to be a fresh water flush from the factory. It looks like a quick fill connector on the port exhaust manifold, is that what this is? I was wondering if I could use this instead of a fake a lake. Any thoughts?

Ballast Build - 2008 Enzo SV 240 - It Begins
lleebo replied to chadr's topic in Centurion Boat Accessories, Electronics and Modifications
N8, I just ordered two of these ball valves that I did not need for my boat. They are 12v 1" normally closed. I have about $50.00 each in them. Let me know if your interested in them. -
They are shipping them to me, should have the around the 23rd. I will post specs when i get them but they are supposed to be 1" closed at idle 12v.

Thanks for all of the input. I thought that I need relays to be able to reverse the pumps and use the switches that are factory installed, isn't that correct? I am using two pumps for two bags, although my Avy is a walkthru so I may install a bypass so I can fill my port sac with both pumps. I thought you had to use a ball valve to keep water in the sacs but it sounds like the pumps will hold the pressure so it looks like i have two electric ball valves for sale if anyone needs them!
-
I'm swapping out my pumps on my 03 avy to two johnsons and i was wondering about installing electric ball valves. My question is since i am installing relays to reverse the pumps how do i turn on the ball valves with the same switch? Does it matter where in the line the ball valves go?

Freeze plugs popped
lleebo replied to Lake Water Connoisseur's topic in Centurion Boat Maintenance, Performance, Troubleshooting
I had this happen on my boat as well. I found a blue plug that was broke off and that side of the block did not get drained. I replaced the freeze plug with a a expandable freeze plug. They work good for places that are impossible to get to on a boat without pulling the motor. My plug was in the bottom of a brass Y used for the water temp sensor. Better check as all block drains are below the freeze plugs. -
Transom thru hulls
lleebo replied to lleebo's topic in Centurion Boat Accessories, Electronics and Modifications
Thanks Wylie. I am planning to put shut off valves right after the transom, do you think i need ball valves by the tanks or will the pumps hold the water pressure and keep the sacs full?
