  1. Hi all, I have a 2007 centurion Enzo 240sv. I recently purchased this boat. I’m looking for some advice for a good surf prop, I’m new to boating so anything helps. I have fat sacs in the rear and a few that go throughout the boat, although I haven’t used any besides the 2 in the rear lockers. My wave is decent but I’m hoping to make it bigger so any suggestions would be very helpful thank you! Im also interested in buying surf tabs if anyone has advice on that as well.
  2. I have a 2017 Supreme Surf S211. Center Trim Tab and Quick Surf stopped working. I suspect it's just a tripped breaker. I see a panel under the dash, to the port side. I pushed in everything but still no tabs. Is there something I'm missing? In the engine compartment, I disconnected the electrical connector (that looks like this: https://www.amazon.com/Bennett-Marine-BAW2020-Actuator-Extension/dp/B00ODQYDB4_ to the center trim tab and put 12V to it. That works. I'm pretty sure, therefore, that the problem is that 12V is not being sent from the dash area. Anyone else have this problem? Know a solution? Boat is under warranty, but the dealer is a 6 hour round trip away!
  3. Howz-it. New to the forum. Just wanted to throw out some knowledge based on experience. After going through 3 wake shaper solutions, I found the surf mode maverick dual shaper system gets the job done 100%, while using less ballast. If anyone would like a more detailed explanation I am more than happy to elaborate. Surfmodemaverick.com

  5. Love our S240 .... struggling with getting the wave to push... is this boat so large that the displacement is a factor or am I doing it wrong with the surf system? I guess speed and tab settings wold be the question.. Thanks in advance

  7. Can anyone point me in the right direction? I am looking to pick up a 2003-2008 boat for under 30k. Looking at all the major brands but keep coming back to Centurion. I am finding it extremely difficult to put together all the information for the models and what they are designed for (T5, Hurricane, Avalanche, Enzo, storm package, length, etc). My ideal boat has normal wear and tear, low hours on the engine, and solid reviews from current and past owners. I will be using this for 75% surfing, 15% cruising, and 10% boarding and skating. I was lucky enough to have an '06 Air Nautique new so I am familiar with what a high quality boat should look and sound like. I realize this is a broad topic (1/3 wanted ad, 1/3 history, and 1/3 recommendations) but I don't have any way to test these boats out where I live in northern Indiana. Thank you in advance for any suggestions or information, Paul
  8. I own a 2010 Centurion Enzo Sv240 with upgraded ballast bags in read mid and bow. Also have 500 pounds of lead ballast, I surf port side and have sideswipe with a switchblade. Im getting a splash that hits you right in the face when surfing port side. Anyone had anything like this happen to them? Would love to hear everyone’s setup on the enzo sv 240s because I love surfing and it’s aggravating not getting the wave perfect lol. Any help appreciated thank you!

  12. New member here but longtime lurker. Bought a 2015 Enzo fs33 about 3 years ago it's been a great boat for our family and I love it. A few questions from you experts: 1. Per the image attached I don't have a water exhaust pipe... I've been reading about FAE's etc. Really I think I want to get something here cause it looks cool but more importantly the health of the people on the back of the boat and the rider from emmisions. I don't need the best but I want the "best practice" and best bang for buck to solve the issue. 2. The port side surf has always been far superior to the starboard side... I've tried it all, settings, weight, water etc. The port side can get huge and a beautiful curl the starboard side has less push and height and minimal curl. Could the FAE or exhaust system potentially help this? Any other suggestions to try? 3. A few if my toggle switches have busted in the dash. Any recommendations on where to buy new ones (dealer said they don't carry them for older boats and even if they did they would probably cost a fortune)..? Thanks everybody I'll be attentive to your comments or questions! Jason
  13. I’m brand new to the Centurion crew as I’ve never owned a Centurion boat before. I just pulled the trigger on a 2005 Tornado. I really like to ski but also like to surf sometimes too. I realize I’m going back a few model years but wondering if anyone can tell me what the surf wake could be like behind a Tornado. How much extra weight would be required? Is it even feasible? I realize it’s more of a DD ski boat but I’m hoping it can cross over and give a beginner to intermediate surf wake. Thanks!
  14. Hello everyone, I am sure if I searched I would find this answer, but who has that much free time. Bought a 2004 SV230 last October and spent the winter getting it ready for summer here in Idaho. I put an 1150 pound bag in each locker, modified a suck gate from an old wake setter to fit my Enzo hull and fixed the perfect pass. So getting a big wave doesn't seem to be my issue. Last weekend I had both lockers full, perfect pass set at 10.3, rpm's were about 4200, I had additional human weight mid ship of about 600 lbs and 350-400 lbs of human in the bow and I was surfing with no rope without an issue on my Hyper lite Skim 5.3, but I am not a small person 6'2" 260 lbs of line backer. so the question is?? for those who know, how do I make the pocket bigger, longer and more playful? less bow weight, more stern weight Accepting all advice. Thanks...

  21. Hello, New to the forum and the boating world. I recently picked up a 2003 Centurion Tornado Direct Drive. This is my first boat and we loved it last season. The tornado came with a stock rear ballast. Does anyone know what size (lbs) it might be. Also I measured out the compartment and can fit a much larger sack but am worried because it sits on top of the gas tank. Thoughts? I can’t find much on this boat. Also thoughts on surfing with this boat. Ya ya ya... I know it’s a direct drive and requires more weight but where and how much any other tips. Thank you

  23. ***Newly minted crew member here. The wife and I just picked up our first Centurion (1999 Elite V with 360 hours) and I am struggling to find any concrete info online about this specific model. There appears to be some real variability in the hull design and options between 1998-2002 for the Elite model and I purchased it off Craigslist without an owner's manual. For example, this hull has some "transom pockets/cutouts" that I can't find any info on and didn't see on all models from this era. Do any of you helpful forum members know how to locate a PDF owner's manual? I emailed Fineline and they haven't reached out. Hoping also to set her up for a modest surf wave and will be investing in some rear locker ballast bags and a surf gate. Anyone with a similar model Elite V and some experience with a ropeless setup got advice? Thanks in advance all! I have been lurking in the forums for a few months and you all seem extremely helpful! Andrew
  24. Hey guys, I am fairly new to wake surfing, but have been wakeboarding my whole life. Just bought an 04 enzo sv230 and trying to dial in my surf wave. Looking to buy a new surf board to help progress my skills. I feel my current board is too big. I am 6 foot and 175-180lbs. Currently riding a hyperlite broadcast 5'4". Leaning towards a hybrid so I can learn some spins, but also airs. Any suggestions on the best board and board size for myself for the money would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!
  25. Guys, I am new to the forum as I just bought my first Centurion a couple weeks ago. It is a 2004 Enzo SV230. My current setup is the factory hard tanks under each side of the boat and 2 540 lb bags (one in each rear locker), plus a delta mission surf shaper. Those are all plumbed in. I own 2 350 lb bags that are not plumbed, but can be filled with a separate pump. Any ideas on the best weight set up to create a good surf wave with enough push? I am still struggling with throwing the rope and consistently staying in the pocket. Once I drift back, it is tough to push back forward. I am 6 foot, 180 lbs and riding a 5 foot 4 inch hyperlite broadcast. Any thoughts on a good board for me? I am fairly new to surfing, but have been wakeboarding my entire life. Thanks for all the input.
