still did a nice system. Six ws 65i in boats on a ws ht 6 a set of Rev 10's on a arc 600.2 and a jl 12w3 on a ws htx2 ws 420sq plus rgb led's on a ws controler

Is ordering a boat with zero speakers an option? Or did you turf the lower end WS in boats?

I guess you could but don't think it would save you any cash. Standard stereo is a clarion head unit with six WS 65I inboat speaker's and a WS Ht6 amp not top of the line but still nice gear..I just pulled the amp and pulled new speaker wire so each speaker is on its own channel and gets 100 watts each. I think it will sound good if not I'll upgrade to the 650's

Dark - I don't think it's an option that saves any money since it's standard.

I didn't even give the 65i's a chance. I swapped them out to the 650RGB's and an SD. If I new I was selling in 2 years I would have done it like you though H.

But since I'm keeping her for awhile had to go big - LOL

Only thing I might do at some point is another SD2 and XXX in ported enclosure. But for now she sounds pretty damn good and got it looking just like I want (famous words)!

Installed Natuic Logic GPS receiver. Was easy plug and play. Just had to contort myself to get to the connections under the floor located on top of the gas tank.

I positioned the receiver puck up on the dash. Really easy install.

I had Evolution Covers make a swim platform cover

I have a custom sack coming (Thanks NW Boat Sports) and after a few warranty items get knocked out this week I should be set for this season.

Yo Viking,

I just also bought the Nautic Logic GPS unit... I looked up under my helm to try and plug in there, but could not find the connections... it looks like you found your's under the floor? Did you have to remove the central floor panel to get down there? Did you just follow the cable coming off the paddlewheel? Thanks!

It's wrapped up and zip tied within a couple feet of the paddlewheel on top of the gas tank. Just follow the cable off the paddlewheel and you should see it.

I did NOT remove the floor panel. Thought I might have to but I removed the rear seat so I could get an arm and shoulder in the opening. It was tough but doable.

I fished the puck and line along the starboard gunwale and did most of the work at the opening near the speakers first. Then along my heater vent hose through the starboard storage compartment behind the drivers seat.

It's easier if you clean that whole area out to work.

Good luck!!

Haven't been on here in awhile and/or updated my Thread.  Seems like I'm always doing something to the boat and run out of time to post :)

Anyway I just finished up installing some RubRail Docking lights and VisionX rear facing tower lights.  For the tower lights I used the existing lower speaker locations and tower wiring and grabbed a set of adapters.  The hardest part of the install was cutting out the rocker switches.  The rubrail docking lights were a bit harder since I had to build up the nerve to take a cutting wheel to my boat and measure a million times to ensure I was able to re-use the existing rub rail screws to install the coverplate over the light housing.  It actually wasn't too bad.  I located the rocker switches in the right armrest cover plate at the top and bottom edges.  It looks like it came like that from the factory which is the look I was going for.   Now it's time to go use her for the season again ......whoot whoot!!!
