Helmets really help with whiplash? I've had a couple landings where I saw stars and had a sore neck for a few days. I always heard they're only useful with obstacles (rails, etc).

Most painful landings for me are usually during spins, catching an edge on landing. Though I have lawn-darted a few times, once I landed and the board stopped dead, I actually shot out of the bindings and hit the water face first.

YIKES! that board looks like it popped him right on top of the head. Maybe thats the board's comeback after getting pearled! LOL

I've had that happen with my wakeskate, I don't surf though.

I've had it happen with my mucus too. It's in one of my videos. But it was NOTHING like that! That board went sailing!
