Boat Leaking today while on the lake. Look at picture, What is this?

Hardest part of replacing the seal is removing the V-drive so you can get to it. All total my replacement might have taken 2 hours. That was over 100 hours ago on my PSS seal and I have not had a drop of water come through the shaft since.

Judging by the other forums, the OJ seal has a failure rate that is only slightly better than the roughly 50% we've seen on this forum. The PSS however only gets rave reviews. It's what I did.
