Called Centurion Today they are using OJ Prop dripless shaft seals. They put this seal through serious testing with over 100 hours without the water feed hose even hooked up to it. I ordered one today for my boat $180. http://www.ojprops.com/ -

I plan on getting the PSS shaft seal. I think it’s a darn shame a $50,000 boat leaks! -

I have the PCM 343 in my boat. Once the boat hits the water and I back it off the trailer the boat starts leaking. If you flip the seat back where you would get to the center plug and take a flash light and stick your head down in the opening you can see the leak from the shaft seal. I called Centurion and even though my boat only has 68 hours on it they will not warranty it. -
I was all alone on the boat with my Wife and her friend.

I put some grease in the fitting today and took her to the lake...still leaking! Guess I need a new seal! The boat only has 68 hours on it. -
Boating pet peeves/ ethics

1. Shoes Off! 2. Don’t wear clothing/swim suites that bleed color on the seats 3. Help wipe down the boat once it is out of the water. 4. Offering to help pay for gas is a plus -
Thought my boat was sinking today!

I found out that this was not due to my plugs, I had a leak coming somewhere around the prop shaft. I know where the center plug is with the T-handle that you are referring to. -

Last weekend I noticed a bunch of water in the hull of my boat, enough to make the bilge come on. I went back out on the lake today with a flash light and started looking and this is what I found, see the attach picture. The picture is of the drive shaft right up from where it goes through the bottom of the boat. How serious is this? What is it? AND How do I fix it? Any advice would be GREAT!! -

Thanks for all the feedback crew! -
Went to the lake today for the second time this year. I dropped my dad off at the landing to get the truck/trailer and I circled back out in the water. I turned the boat off and went to the back of the swim platform. I heard what sounded like water/almost like a fountain, immediately I opened the Engine hatch on my 09’ AVY and it looked as if water was shooting up from where the rear drain plug was. At this point I was in panic mode, i knew I had put the plug in but couldn’t figure out where the water was coming. I looked up and my dad was back in the trailer so I quickly started the boat and headed toward the landing to get in on the trailer. Long story short....Once I got home and started doing some investigating the bilge pump where the hose connects had broken off which is where the water was shooting out making me think I was sinking. I ordered a new bilge pump off amazon. HOWEVER..now I am extremely concerned that I have a leak somewhere due to all the water that was in the hull of the boat. Since it was the second time the boat has been in the water this year AND we haven’t been in and out of the boat with wet swim suits I can’t figure out why water would be in the boat and trip the bilge....ANY IDEAS???
