What's this gizmo?

Can anyone tell me what this little red box is for? It's located in the ski locker.

it is a battery charging isolator I assume you have more than one battery it sends charge to the battery in need so it does not matter what position your battery switch is on charge will be sent to the battery in need

Thanks mate. I better go searching for the missing battery then! (I only have one, so I'm guessing it's been removed by the previous owner).

I've read one of your previous posts h20king, I see you have a dual battery set-up. why do you need an extra battery? do you have some serious amps or something like that?
