PROP SIZE

ORIGINAL PROP FOR MY CONCOURSE AT REPAIR SHOP- 13 X 14. LOCAL DEALER HAS A 13 x 12 .080 CUP. OJ PROPS CHART SHOW IT NEEDS A 13 x 12.5 .080 CUP. DOES ANYONE KNOW HOW WELL THIS 13 x 12 PROP WOULD WORK- TRYING TO GET IN THE WATER FOR THE WEEKEND. ALSO I HAVE UPPED MY ENGINE TO A 383 W/ 400 HP. THANKS FOR ANY HELP.

You're gonna kill about 6mph off your previous top end. I would call ACME as they probably put the first prop on your boat.

 

383 with 400hp...

I have the 315hp motor, and it's needs alot more hp. I run the 911 prop, which is extreme but as long as the boat has some bow weight, it will get to speed and hold it:) How did you get more hp?
