Ok, so the few pics I've seen on Instagram and Facebook lead me to believe that there isn't an issue cleaning up the regular wave. Or at least they've figured it out. Also, went out on my friends 2017 S226 today and checked out the underneath. It has the new aggressive prop shaft angle. It has a 14.5" prop(not sure which actual prop, doh) and a ton of clearance between it and the hull. And there was no issues dialing in the wave at all. Sadly, it has very little room between the prop and the trailer prop guard! So going up in size, it may be able to fit a 15" prop as is. But I don't think it's necessary.

Noticed the boat liked to porpoise as we were flying across the lake to get some lunch, but a quick adjustment of the trim tab corrected that.

That has some major clearance from the hull, to the point of looking odd.

Agreed. They only needed about 1" to 1 1/4" more to properly fit a 16" prop. But supposedly since they were already at a 16 degree strut their options were limited off the shelf and had to go with a 18 degree strut which was a big jump at the prop. You would think for what we are paying for these boats they could have gone with a custom angle strut.

It also seems like, from the picture above, they have backed themselves into a corner with the prop to trailer clearance now. It doesn't look like they have enough room to go from the 14.5" prop that is on the boat to the 16" that is needed and not hit the trailer prop guard. The prop guard can't go any lower to the ground so the boat would have to be raised slightly on the trailer but the Ri237 is already 11'6" on the trailer with the tower up and over 8'6" with the tower down.

Any new info on this thread about production changes for shaft diameter and stock props? Im looking at a in stock RI217 2017 with the 409 vs ordereding a 2017. Basically the in stock boat would be a 2016 Q3 boat where the ordered boat would be a 2017 Q2 boat.

Thanks in advance
