New owner help 09 sv240
09CenturionEnzoSV240 posted a topic in Centurion Boat Maintenance, Performance, Troubleshooting
Hey guys! I purchased my first wake boat last week, an 09 Centurion Enzo SV240. I have a few questions. I bought it from a non-centurion dealer with 105 hours on it. She's beautiful, and I was told everything was functioning perfectly, but my first time out, the speedometer isn't working. It says 0mph until I really accelerate, and once I approach top speed it trickles up to 10-12 mph shown on the speedometer (although I'm clearly doing 35+). The dealer is supposed to look at it, but they're dragging their feet and handling it in a less than professional manner. Any idea what the issue might be? It has the scorpion 377, and 5 hard ballast tanks, 1 center, 2 mid, and 2 rear. I surf goofy and ride the right side of the wake (the driver's side, is that the starboard side?) The other side of the wake is noticeably cleaner, I'm told because of the prop rotation. Any affordable ways to clean up my side? I'm hoping for an affordable but effective wake shaper recommendation. Thanks in advance for your help!!!- 1 reply

Speedometer not registering
Arbie posted a topic in Centurion Boat Maintenance, Performance, Troubleshooting
The speedometer on my 2009 Enzo sv240 won’t register. It’s a gps based speedometer and it doesn’t have a paddle wheel. The gps screen shows my current location but won’t show speed. Any ideas what could be wrong? Is there a specific fuse for the speedometer? It worked fine 2 days ago then all of a sudden it stopped working.- 2 replies

2006 Centurion Cyclone Speedometer worked great last season, it’s not working at all this year. All other gauges are working fine. Where should I start the trouble shooting process? Thank you! -
Pro-Vision Blue Screen?
Donnieb posted a topic in Centurion Boat Maintenance, Performance, Troubleshooting
I need some help with my Pro-Vision screen. I tried to start my boat up yesterday, but instead of immediately turning over, the engine was silent and I heard a loud beep from the boat. I turned the battery by-pass switch on and then back off, and then it started up, but my Pro-Vision wouldn’t come into focus – it was just a blue screen. I spent a while tinkering around and reading the Crew help forums, taking the Provision unit out of the dash and ensuring all of the connections were seated properly. But still no luck beyond the blue screen. I could start up the boat, drive it, but I couldn’t see the speedometer, speed control, etc. Just a blue screen. I turned the battery by-pass switch on and then off quickly, and all of a sudden the ProVision came back on – and I was able to operate the boat with the Provision screen and all of the controls! So I drove around a bit, and then turned the engine off and back on and the ProVision was still working. But then a little bit later I tried to start the boat again and the provision was blue-screening. I played with the battery by-pass switch and it came back on. Any idea what’s going on? I have a 2010 Enzo 240SV with two batteries. Thanks. Don- 10 replies

Speedo and Alignment Problem
dubbwelsh posted a topic in Centurion Boat Maintenance, Performance, Troubleshooting
Took my new-to-me 05 Centurion Elite C4 on its maiden voyage today. Everything all good except I have no speedo and the steeringwheel (rudder) seems to be 90 deg off to the port side (pulls starboard when positioned straight). I guess my question is, what are some things or logical steps to troubleshoot speedo now that its in my driveway AND can a guy align the rudder and wheel pretty easily? I'm no stranger to the wrenches, just looking for some "check this first" advice before I get to tearing into it, I'd like to get back on the lake fully working ASAP! Thanks in advance! Electric ground issue - '04 Enzo
steedracer posted a topic in Centurion Boat Maintenance, Performance, Troubleshooting
Been a while since I've been on the site. I've put up with a bad speedo/no speed on PP/squirelly tach gauge (though rpm's on PP are accurate) for a second season. I suspect there is a electrical ground issue somewhere. On an '04 Enzo, where would be the best places to look at the ground. Everything on the battery terminal appears to be good. Is there a any place on the boat that has multiple ground connections? Sorry for the dumb questions, but the boat is on a lift in a slip, about an hour away from a mechanic. Would love to be able to do some minor diagnosing myself. Thoughts? Thinking about upgrading to Stargazer but would rather find the electrical glitch if possible. Other than that, our Enzo is still going strong.
