Ok, I got all the tubes plumbed in, and everything wired up to the dash on the drivers side. I even tested everything to make sure its working, and all the pumps/orbit valves turn on. So before I put it all into the switch, and wire up the resetable breaker my question is what type if any relay do I need? I know the stock system only has one relay. I would assume that the sprinker valves on the stock system are not running from the stock relay, correct? My thinking was that if they were wired into the relay, they would both open whenever you hit one either switch, correct?

So with my train of thought I will need 2 relays(what type?) and do I need a diode?

Looking forward to getting on the water tomorrow. hopefully with my newly working ballast setup!

Hi, yes the stock set up uses diodes so that both solenoids do not open at the same time.

You may or may not need diodes depending on how you are wiring.

I just used a simple Bosch normally open 30 amp relay on my system.

Feel free to PM me and I will give you my phone #. Much easier to talk and help out as I suck at typing!

Sporty.
