I hit a rock last summer and messed up my prop . Replaced that and Didint have any issues the rest of the summer . No vibrations, etc.

Brought in for service after de winterizing and they are telling me the shaft is slightly bent and rudder is extremely bent and telling me I need to replace otherwise I will wreck transmission. Just curious if I need to replace since it seemed to be fine last summer? And if I do need to replace what is a fair price .

Thanks

I ran a Ski Nautique with a visibly bent rudder for years.  Decommissioned it with the same bent rudder.

As for the shaft, if it's bent, I'm shocked you're not feeling the vibration.  A bent shaft will slowly shake all of the screws loose on your boat.
