  1. Hello, Recently acquired a 2011 C4 Avalanche and after driving for a few days(about 7 hrs total) a few observations that i hope someone can help clarify: 1. Noticed the boat lists to Starboard when i engage the throttle. Is this from the prop torque? If so how do i compensate? 2. I seem to have all the ballasts (rear port is full hard tank, rear stbd is half hard tank, plus mid of both and single fwd ballast for total of 5). finding wake is quite messy on port(reg) side and much cleaner on the goofy side. Do i just have to play with the weight/ballast and fine tune it to get to the happy place? for this past weekend surfed with all tanks 100% full. New to surfing so hoping to get some people that have a similar boat and can help! 3. What is the minimum safe depth to operate this boat(or lake gets quite shallow at end of summer) Thanks to anyone that can help!
  2. seriously looking at a 2004 Enzo 230 And would like details on set up for wake surfing. It’s my understanding it has two ballasts that it came with. Should I add more? It has a four blade prop from wake makers. what should the 2000 for Enzo typically have on it? What should I be looking for?
  3. The internet is awash with how-to's for DIY wave shapers that all more or less have the same fatal flaw......they are based on mounting bracket platform that cause a 90* angle. I tried two iterations (90* and 70*?) of my wedge with this platform unsuccessfully prior to trying a new design. Effect on the wave was awesome (regular and goofy) but the hard angle applies too much pressure to the suction cups and struggles to stay on for the length of a surf session. Riding through other boats chop really seemed to unsettle the suction cups. Pic below is my original design with standard 90* angle. No pictures of the 2nd iteration. I'll be adding photos and process of my next iteration for a <$40 wave shaper with pictures, parts, and assembly directions. Who else out there has built one and what did you do better/differently? Floating attachments? Better suction cups? Etc.?
  4. I purchased Fly High aftermarket ballast bags to go into the V-Drive lockers for my '09 Elite V C4. They were plumbed in and integrated into the controls of the boat's helm. The port side ballast bag will fill properly when the switch is flipped. When going to empty the bag, the 5 amp fuse blows immediately before the pump motor even begins running. My initial thought is to replace the Johnson pump that is currently attached. That brings up two questions: is it the ballast pump motor that is causing the fuse to blow? Why only when emptying, not filling the bag? It appears as though the style of integrated pumps that Johnson and Jabsco put out have changed from what I have and I am not entirely sure how it is supposed to plumb in. Any thoughts on the setup are appreciated. The pictures are of my existing pump (Johnson 750 GPH). The ballast bag has two tubes coming out of the top. One is the vent that allows run off to come out of the side of the boat. I am not entire sure what the other tube leads to. The pump is on the back bottom of the bag. It is pulling water in the bottom I imagine but am not entirely sure.

  6. Photos attached, read first then look. Ok so we have a 2017 S211. We bought it a month ago and it has had this problem from the start. The wake does not provide that clean slope for wakebaording when all 6 different ballasts are filled. Instead it is super choppy (white water) on one side and a little on the other. Neither sides are good and really suck to wakeboard on because your board catches that choppy water and messes up a jump. I am not a very experienced wakeboarder but I know there is a problem with the boat. All the tabs off, the trim is 0 and all ballasts full. Does anyone know what's going on? oh wait there's more. It seems whenever I cross the wake and dig an edge in so I cut really far to one side, it changes the wake. Like me wakeboarding is moving the boat. Not for the better or the worse it just changes it according to side. No matter what we do it is always terrible.
  7. Has anyone tried the 2017 Eight.3 Ronix Wakesurf Shaper on a 2016/17 S238 Supreme. I'm wondering if they are worth the investment and curious about the reliability/durability of the Velcro attachment system? Also do they work and improve an already decent wake for wakesurfing? They aren't cheap once bought in CDN $! :-( https://www.wakemakers.com/eight3-wakesurf-shaper.html Cheers....Blair
  8. Hi, Looking to get some info possibly. We have a local group of slalom skiers who recently skied behind a 1998 Falcon Tru Trac III. BEST. SLALOM. WAKE. EVER.(Most off us ski 15 off to 22 off @ 34. ) We ski behind a nautique 200 and Prostar regularly and all off us were shaking our heads asking where this boat has been. Does anyone have history behind the hull design and which boat iterations shared the same hull. Thanks for help.

  10. Hi All, We bought a 2014 Supreme S1 from the guys at Northwest in Portland (Great guys) this winter. Trying to dial-in the wake on the Columbia River and would very much appreciate some pointers. Older posts have suggested for regular something similar to the below. Is this still what others are using? We had them add surf tabs. Port Side Quick Fill Full Port Side PNP Full Starboard side PNP ~200-250 lbs Center trim tab 50%-75% We had them add surf tabs. These don't seem to be helping much. Most likely user error. Any help / suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thanks.
  11. Hey all, new boat owner and happy to be part of the Centurion family. Just purchased a 2016 Centurion Enzo SV244 a month ago and have about 42 hrs on it. Getting a GREAT surf wave for left foot forward surfers (which is nice because everyone in my family surfs that side) but REALLY struggling to get a good enough wave with some push for my goofy footed friends. Kind of frustrating, seeing that my goofy footed friends have all wrigged up their much older boats and have a much better goofy wave. The wave is clean but I just can't seem to get it steep enough and definitely does not have the curl like my regular side. Any recommendations for setup? (CATS, Tabs, QuickSurf, etc) Spent an hour last night just tinkering with all of the different settings and still can't get a great wave. Thanks
  12. Everyone, Will post pics this weekend. I live on a river that fluctuates between 10-15 feet where we surf. We can tell a huge difference when we hit a shallower spot. Right now, our standard setup is a 2008 Enzo with 3-4 people in the back of the boat with an enzo sac filled. I've tried adding bags on the seats but hate having ballast showing. I've read a lot about assymetrical plates but don't want to do anything that will affect the boat at all speeds as we like to wakeboard and slalom behind the boat as well. Starboard side still has stock, hard tank. Any advice for getting the wave better. It's certainly better than our 1997 MC with fat sacs but there are way too many great pictures and videos here of long waves with tons of push to not be jealous. Second question: what upgrades do you suggest: it has a tower (no speakers which I am OK with) and standard stereo system, PP, ballast puppy pump sac and extra small pumps to increase speed of emptying the ballast. The ballast takes about 10-15 minutes to fill completely. Fuel gauge is not working and the floor above the tank is screwed in (I can't believe they didn't use bolts!!!) so that is my next project to fix. I don't like the tower, takes at least 2 people and blocks the side of the boat for getting on and off at the lift. Lot's of info here but I am sure everyone can agree that as soon as you buy a boat, you want to make it absolutely perfect! Thanks in advance!
  13. OK guys it's been annoying me for quite a while now, where I cannot get my 2002 elite v to even up its wake. I have tried moving people everywhere, adjusting the rear plate, etc. Looking out from the rear of the boat the right hand side is ideal real rampy and unbroken, the left hand side however is a mess constantly washy. I decided to put some 400lb fly highs in the rear locker to sit the boat deeper in the water. I have no ballast in the front as yet. But no matter what I do the profiles of each side of the wake are completely different, I'm starting to think it may have something to do with the tracking plates, rudder, prop or bottom profile of the boat, any help will appreciated, Boat speed is at 22 mph. i'll try attach some videos and pics so you can see what i'm talking about (boat) (wake) video links (empty) (full)
  14. Just bought Enzo 244. Looking to set up Ballast, has several built in, not exactly sure of sizes etc. None in the way back, supposedly plummed and ready, was told probably won't need. Of course when I test drove he told me to fill all ballast after reading that doesn't sound right at all. I have a 12 year old son weighing about 90 lbs what would be a good setup for him. Any and all help is appreciated. Is there a chart available anywhere basically telling an idiot like me if a person weighs 90lbs the following ballast are recommended speed etc...
