  1. Has anybody ordered or got a quote for Deckadence off the Crew yet? ive been trying to get a quote but am getting no response , the add says , PM , admin. I have sent them 2 emails with the requested info and got nothing back, does PM not refer to email? What am I doing wrong ?
  2. So we just finished a new mod on my buddies boat I have to admit we are pretty pleased with the results in the past even with the switchblade we could never get the goofy side cleaned up very well so we ended up removing the switchblade and having an asymmetrical wing plate manufactured to the exact specs of the one on my FS44 except for the mounting plate which fit where his small fixed plate was before. I have surfed behind his boat plenty of times and it was always a bummer with all the wash out we had in the past but today for the first time the wave was superclean had crazy amount to push and was plenty long, if anybody is considering this mod for the SV240 I can say it works quite well, total cost was $705.00, new lenco parts and the wing plate manufactured "$185.00"
  3. Fi23 prop

Cool, anybody get a water test yet?
  4. Fi23 prop

I actually went and looked at that boat a week and a half ago, I believe all it had was RAM the center tank and maybe the transom locker I know it did not have any ballast bags in the storage compartments, i'm guessing the RPMs would've climbed a bit more with an 800 pound bag in each rear locker.
  5. 50lbs bags of lead

How do you set up your RI as for the rest of the bags, I did not have a bow bag so I could see where that would help, currently I set it up like Darkside recommended, I can say this much, the wave was amazing we were actually toning it back a bit for the riders just cause it was too intense to start with. And that is coming from a group who's always surfed A dialed in FS 44 with 800 pounds of tractor plates.
  6. Yes it can be added if you have an adjustable plate already it would save you some money but even if you have a fixed plate it can be done, we recently added one to a SV240, it had a fixed plate so we had to buy all new Linnco actuator and switch and have the plate fabricated our total cost was under $725, the only thing is your fabricator has to match The same angle your boat comes up at from the mounting position where they bend it we built ours to the exact specs of the plate on a FS44, we had the fabricator duplicate the mounting position behind the hinge and follow the angle of his boat where they bend it for the kick out
  7. I had a 05 Avy, great boat, I would stay away from a non c4 model though, as mentioned seating and ballast for goofy, as for a "A" plate I would highly recommend it, I surf goofy and I wish I had done it, look at the resaults we got on my friends boat in this topic 2008 SV240 switchblade to "A" plate
  8. Ri237 surf/wakeboard settings

I cannot comment on A ri237 considering the fact I just got my ri257 yesterday. But a couple posts down from yours check this topic there may be some information that will work for you. 2017 ri237 dialed in settings
  9. 50lbs bags of lead

Well I just ordered my thousand pounds from wake ballast with their current special it was $990, i'm sure I'll be glad I have 1000 pounds, a lot of days it's only me the wife and our three boys in the boat, and between the four of them I'm lucky to get 275lbs LOL. ?
  10. 50lbs bags of lead

Haha, I believe you're referring to my FS correct, actually I ended up trading that yesterday for a 2017 RI257 and I'm told 1000 pounds is about what I would want.
  11. 50lbs bags of lead

Both brands are Steel according to the web sites.
  12. 50lbs bags of lead

Checked out the web site, for this months sale it's $2 off a bag and buy 9 get 1 free, going to call him tomorrow see if he will do a little better on a 20 bag order, either way I'm going to get them coming. Thanks.
  13. We used Hatfield manufacturing here in Wendell Idaho, does your boat have any type of adjustable plate already or is it a fixed plate? it might be something that you want to do in the winter because I believe you would need to remove your plate and mail it this direction or find a local fabricator because where it attaches to the boat it has to exactly match what is on your boat now.
  14. Dam Dark, that goofy wave looks epic, I guess I better start planning to get my 1000lbs of lead asap, can't wait tell tomorrow to pick up my RI.
  15. Ordered an Fi23 !

I was told the same thing when I was looking into the FI.
  16. Could you guys please share your RPM's you guys are running at surf speeds, boat, year, model, ballast. Trying to get a feel of what is good. Currently on my 2015 FS44, listed, PnP rear full, PNP front 70%, RAM 100%x20%, surf 11mph up river and 12 down, I'll run 3300 to 3800 depending on how many peeps even weighted with mission delta WS, rear PnP full, front PNP 70%, both RAM 40% to 65% depending on peeps, RPM's 4100 to 4300.. on both boat will stuggle to keep speed after 8 to 9 peeps. What you are guys at, and what's your thoughts on mine. This may not matter much soon since looking at getting a 2018 Fi or Ri ? this year but I'd like to know what normal is.
  17. Ordered an Fi23 !

That's awsome, love the color lay out, i almost ordered one the exact same way but after driving 4 hours to see one decided it was a bit small for our family, lot of thing I did like about it though and had I gotten to surf behind it I may have felt different, I'm sure your going to love it, centurions are great boats, I wouldn't own anything but. Wecome to the family.
  18. Fi23 first impressions

Well I made to see the FI and I was not as impressed as I thought I would be, it was a striped model 100g, it seemed basic for $100,000 boat, I did like the looks of the boat a few things I did not like were the glove box lid seemed very cheaply made, and as mentioned in the earlier review the positioning of the tower just did not seem like it would work to me I was imagining it with a pair of tower speakers are down fire and you would literally have to duck under them if you came on from the back of the boat or maneuver yourself between the speakers, as far as boarding the boat from the side goes it doesn't seem like it would be very easy you would pretty much have to board onto the back deck first then into the boat from the back, The vinyl was of course awesome fit and finish looked good inside but interior room seemed a bit small, I did not do a water test so I cannot comment on the wave which I'm sure is completely awesome but I don't believe I want to switch from my FS 44 for what I'm told is a wave that is 10% better and seems to be a lesser smaller boat. For somebody who wants a new boat and an awesome wave and 100,000 is their top limit and does not mind a stripped-down boat I am sure the FI would be great but if you are considering optioning it out it would not cost much more money to get new RI 237 or 2017 RI But I did crawl through a 2017 RI257, ? Thinking I may just have to go with one of those
  19. Fi23 first impressions

I went to the dealer and we did a build sheet, fairly well optioned $120g , all PnP, downfire package, core gelcoat with one of the free base colors, gator seat base, limo and transom lights, no CATs, free snap in carpet. MSRP 134g but dealer said he could get it down to 120g i plan on getting a new boat also this year but after pricing out the FI and seeing prices only well optioned I'm thinking about a 2018 237 or a 2017 257, finding those fully loaded for 145g an thinking they will be coming down more soon
  20. Fi23 first impressions

Well I'm on my way right now to see the FI for myself right now so will my input later today.
  21. FS44 Fall/winter mod

The mission delta works great on the FS44
  22. Fi rumors

I was told by Nicole , one of the designers said with the new hull CATS really really is not needed , I believe the first production FI should be in Utah in about a month and believe it will not have CATS, and these guys really know these boats so we will see how it gos.
  23. Fi rumors

Well I have seen the option pricing list, and this boat will push well over 100G pretty easily, but 450HP is only $3950, Ram $2000 , CATS $1950 if you get it, front PnP $955, if you go for rear bags $1950 or $950 depending on wether you get the trunks, trunks $895 , $950 transom lights , $850 heater, $2500 to $5400 depending on if you choose the Rev 8s or down fire. $1350 for floor gator skin $350 more for all gator. And the list god on and on. I keep building mine and it's gos way over $115g ever time and I'm leaving a lot out and no trailer upgrades. Love the boat thought but curious how much less it will be than a RI237 if load out the FI
  24. Fi rumors

Well I talked Gerry, ( the district sales rep I believe ) and he informed me they could not get on a water test with the factory tour. ? Will have to demo at a dealer, but I am still planning on going for the tour. I believe it will be well worth the trip.
  25. Fi rumors

ok so ive been watching everything being said and shown on the FI23 and I just love it, 99% sure im going to order a one as long as it will out surf my fs44 and from what ive been told that should not be a problem, I mentioned this concern of ordering one when speaking to Nicole at Fineline and she mentioned she could get me on a factory tour to come demo the FI there to see if I wanted to start the trade in and order process, well of coarse I was like HELL YEA, I would love that, she called back a little later and told me she had contacted Boardco. and Gary is supposed to call me to start getting things set up and if he couldn't make it with me a factory tech would give me the tour and lake test.. I think its pretty cool that Fineline does this for its customers, Great company.....cant wait to get down there, I will keep everyone post on how it gos...
