  1. I have a 2019 FI23 with less than 25 hours. Was on water yesterday and PNP bags won't fill. Electronic dash shows they are filled. Any ideas?

  4. So I have two questions: 1) I've been having periodic priming problems with my two Johnson Ultras. They each have their own hole , periodically one of them won't prime. I have clear hoses and I can see the water come halfway up, then drop back down over and over again. I have a slight arc in the intake hose and if I try to time the up with dipping down the hose and quickly pulling it up, I can sometimes get the pump to prime. This happens to both pumps, but never at the same time, so far. A while back I noticed that one of my pumps that had a straight, no arc, line from the intake had problems priming, but the one with the arc didn't. So I recut hose and put arcs in both. Now I'm wondering if that was just a fluke and they should both be as straight as possible. I don't use these reversible, they only intake. So there is nothing but hose between the intake and the pump. Has anyone else had this problem? 2) In conjunction with the above, I got the idea to use the old stock waterpuppy for topside ballast bags. I'm in no mood for another hole in the hull for it's own dedicated line, really because I don't even know where I'd drill it at this point. Can I simply "Y" one of my intakes (http://www.wakemakers.com/hose-barb-wye.html) and have one hose to an Ultra and another to the waterpuppy? I run 1" hose throughout and thought I read somewhere that a single intake can support two pumps. If I do this, will there be any issues with priming for either pump? For the waterpuppy, I'm going to use it reversible, so I'll have a tee with a check valve between the "Y" at the intake and the pump. I also bought this: http://www.wakemakers.com/bosworth-y-valve.html so that I can route the two ultras into this line for faster filling when we're just swapping top side ballast. Can a 1" hose support three pumps, two ultras and a puppy? Does anyone have a similar setup? Pictures if you do please.
  5. We just purchased a 2001 Eclipse V drive with air warrior package. So, now that I've gotten into the inside of the boat and found some things out, I really want to add some weight to the ridiculous 250 lb center ballast tank. I've been reading a lot of posts on here and other sites, checked out wavemakers and I'm trying to figure out the best and simplest system that I can convert my current set up to. Currently it just has the stock, center hard tank = 25 lbs, which to be honest makes little to zero difference in the wake size. There are 2 stock Atwater 750A pumps with 1" tubing, one for filling and one for draining. If anyone is familiar with these boats and this stock set up and has already added a set up, please direct me in the right direction. Here is what direction I am currently headed in: Leave the stock 250# hard tank - I'm thinking of filling it, capping it off and leaving it that way - disconnect the pump and just forget about it. Add 2 400 lb sacks in the back, one on each side of the V-drive in the lockers. Add 650 lb sack in the front bow. Run them with 2 pumps. Not sure if I should change the pumps, add pumps or? Connect it all with the same intake that's already there, and the same venting set and everything. This will give me 1700 lbs total. I can always add another 500 lb sac on the floor, drivers side for surfing. I surf goofy footed. Im okay with them filling in 15-20 minutes, but would like it to be faster if its not going to cost me too much. Any ideas? Anyone done this already with this boat? It already has the switch on the dash and the manual open/close valve mounted just under the walk thru.
